No delayed exit for clutter - March Flylady Thread 2019 for fledglings!

ChicCroissant · 28/02/2019 09:40

What would a combo of exit and clutter be, clexit? Exclutter? Perhaps we should just stick with declutter ....

Welcome to the March Flylady thread, we’d love to have you with us as we chat and work our way through our houses in March. Flylady uses the zone method of cleaning so we’ll be focusing on a different area of the house each week – we will post daily links to the Launch Pad on the Flylady website which gives all the details of the current Zone, daily missions and babysteps.

Newbies are always welcome so feel free to join in at any time. Flylady does recommend decluttering your house first, so if you are not ready for the cleaning routines yet it’s fine to focus on the decluttering bit – add the babysteps in if you wish.

Think it's just because I'm tired zoo so craving comfort food.
Hope your evening is as restful as possible, that does sound hard Sad would he watch some TV with you?

Stilllivinginazoo · 22/03/2019 20:20

Watched bit David Attenborough, which means constant stream questions and information fired at me as e gets very absorbed in favourite topics..
Got home alone on TV now.weird watching out of festive season but hoping brings him down a Notch so I can zone out a bit

Pushmepullyou · 22/03/2019 20:24

Aaagghh, fell off the thread and the flying! Must do better this weekend!

Bowerbird5 · 22/03/2019 20:59

Foxes I will let you know if I find them.
I also get cravings for comfort food at times and judging by the way the food was received at the church working party others do to especially after working hard and on rainy days. Could do with some Jewish chicken soup. I have just had some toast today. I still can’t face anything.

Zoo what about a board game?
Fancy moving north I have no grandchildren yet?
Still learning about children with anxiety. I have recently met a great guy who is working for the local authority. He is advising about a child in our school and we are definitely on the same wavelength. He said so😁 interesting that DS is finding it stressful without his siblings. So maybe a short time without you might work if everyone is else there. If he copes it could be regular and gradually extended.

GP phoned at 7:20 pm just when I had given up. He must have been busy today. I rang back at 430pm and got the shirty receptionist. She told me the pharmacies were open to 10 pm. I asked for second time if GP could phone. She told me I was on the list and would have to wait I informed her that I was on my own and I didn’t want to drive far because I was ill and the chemist was shut at 5 pm. She rang off.

DP has just phoned and stated being arsy. I told him I don’t feel well asked him where some documents are to which he answers with a question. I hate how he does that. I wouldn’t be asking if I bloody knew.now he is complaining because he claims he can’t get into the wardrobe. I have a metal trunk in front of his wardrobe which I can move easily. He dumps washing on there including stuff like towels which could, if he put his brain into gear, go straight into the bathroom. Grrr
That bedroom will be so tidy by the time he comes home. He puts cushions off the bed and spare fleeces jackets down the side of he wardrobe which I might have mentioned. Who does that t is weird.

Bowerbird5 · 22/03/2019 21:00

Lisette1940 · 22/03/2019 23:37

Soccer match tomorrow, then pencilled in two hours of flying in the afternoon. Mount Washmore almost conquered.Stew for dinner.

Aiming to complete ironing and clean upstairs in the two hours.

ChicCroissant · 23/03/2019 00:08

Humans need a battery saving feature

I love this Lisette, I will even forgive you for getting to the bottom of Mount Washmore (my current nemesis) Envy

So glad it's Friday (or was, it's now Saturday as I'm so late with this)!

Wine is going down far too well so I'm heading for bed.

Launch Pad link for Saturday

Bit of laundry and packing for holiday done today. Also booked the trampoline park we are going to on Monday on the way to the holiday place.

Managed to take the Caglets to ballet, which was hard work because Cagletini was running riot (although arguably cute enough to get away with it, it seems :o) and then screamed constantly in the taxi home. But we then had a nice evening including bedtime stories. Started a science one for DS as he’s said he doesn’t want regular stories now.

Zoo yes absolutely burnout is totally a thing. Kids who are so intense are just exhausting. Doesn’t matter how lovely they are there’s only so much being talked AT we can take! I am lucky that the Caglets do to some extent entertain each other, DS while the worst culprit for minecraft soliloquies is at least happy in his room with Lego, and neither are particularly clingy other than sometimes in the evening, so I do get some let up. It is really important to carve out time when you can, I’m sorry it is so difficult xxx

IVEgottheDECAF · 23/03/2019 07:04

Ooooo i wish i had a holiday to pack for Sad i really want to go somewhere before baby is born, even of just cheapo self catering! But i dont think ill be able to fly by summer hols, dc1 has sats, so it needs to be may half term Confused anyone got spare grand knocking about?

Stilllivinginazoo · 23/03/2019 07:12
IVEgottheDECAF · 23/03/2019 07:14

As long as you be the cook zoo

Cagliostro · 23/03/2019 08:41

Oi I’m coming too! :o

We just used the Sun newspaper tokens and booked a Haven place that we went to a few years back. It’s not even two hours away :o but it’s a change of scene and has interesting things nearby so we are all excited.

OMG I ache today. Swimming at 10. Eep.

TooStressyTooMessy · 23/03/2019 08:58

Ooh how exciting Cag Smile.

I am definitely up for a holiday if zoo is cooking .

Bowerbird5 · 23/03/2019 09:17

I’m thinking of going to Lourdes with church. My conformation name was Bernadette. It is £600 which I think includes meals.

Had a very restless nights sleep. Went to sleep on sofa watching telly then up to bed about midnight. Woke upto find most of bedding on the floor and feel like I am going to be sick. Need to go to chemist and pick up prescription when I get up. Stomach sore but not as bAd as Thursday but I only had two poached eggs on one piece of toast. Trying not to eat too much bread but it is all I can face just now. Did nothing yesterday bar washing 1 load and dishwasher. Going to try for ironing all skirts and trousers today. Can’t face bedroom mess so might aim for small bedside table clearance.

My sister used to save those Cags she went to Ayr twice and the kids loved it. Great to not having to drive far with kids in tow.

Waves to everyone and hope you have a good day👋🍨🍪🍪🍩🍩🍫🍫🍷🍷🍹🍹🍹🍸🍸☕️☕️☕️Leaving these in the naughty corner as I suspect some may need them.

Pushmepullyou · 23/03/2019 09:37

Sorry to hear you’re feeling rubbish again/still bower. I have a painful tummy ache today that woke me up in the night. I think I probably need a fairly quiet day.

I think I am going to spend most of it at home pottering and flying.

To do
Declutter dressing table drawers
Clothes sort
Online shop
Laundry
Some work
Declutter handbag

Stilllivinginazoo · 23/03/2019 09:42

ChicCroissant · 23/03/2019 10:31

zoo how stressful with the bank cards - can your partner come up with some cash in the meantime? I hope the cards have arrived or the postie is sprinting up the street with them now.

Bower a couple of my family have done the Lourdes trip, I hope you feel better - sometimes a bit of food helps but you don't always feel like eating it though! Same to pushme, sound like a bug is going round the fledglings

Oooh, fledgling holiday would be fab! Maybe a virtual get-together in the meantime will have to be arranged.

Waves to stressy, Cag and IVE

About to propel DD into the shower before usual activity, have extra one this afternoon too. Testing my limited organisational skills, will have to be extra-prepared this week to cope with jam-packed diary!

I would phone them. Maybe they can uncancel current card?

foxessocks · 23/03/2019 14:37

Hope you manage to get it sorted zoo

I'm very grumpy again today. Had an argument in town with dh and the dc, and whilst it's all fine now I heard dd telling mil about it Blushnever mind that we did do other things this morning she chooses to only remember the arguing in the shop part of the day!!

We were meant to be going out for lunch but we didn't in the end, I'm hoping we can salvage the rest of the afternoon, go out on our bikes or something. Fresh air might be good.

ChicCroissant · 23/03/2019 15:36

I've just handed out the 'I'm the only one who does anything' speech Blush It's true though, DD wasn't doing anything to get herself ready and the one thing she did do, DH interrupted her with inconsequential, timewasting s*t!

So we got there late, she was flustered (which is never a good start) and she is still missing stuff (which should be at the venue, but the person with it was too stressed to approach!)

And breathe ..... got a few hours until I pick her up, hope it all goes well.
