Since we were all so chatty and supportive on the last thread, let's keep it going. We're not all mums, not all organised, but we're getting there!

For new joiners: check out www.theorganisedmum.blog for the basics of Level 1 and Level 2 jobs and then come and chat about it!

I managed level 1 today and all of level 2 apart from changing the sheets in the master bedroom. DD's room is gleaming and the master bedroom is looking good.

I'll change the sheets in the master bedroom tomorrow as we only have a small hall and stairs.

Has anyone else got back in the saddle during lockdown?
I've managed all my level 1 and 2 jobs for a full week for the first time ever last week! Already off kilter now though... and level 3 is still beyond me...

Me! (I was littlechocola earlier on this thread). I’m still working but managing TOMM much better at the moment because of not being able to go out apart from work and also because it’s helping my anxiety and the boredom!
Because I work long shifts I sometimes do a couple of level 2 jobs on different days. today I’m off so did yesterday’s bedroom as well as today’s hallway. Tomorrow I will do the kitchen plus Friday focus (handy as also kitchen).

I feel like it's gone out the window completely with lock down! But that's something to do with having a 2.5 year old at home all the time and a 6 month old who won't settle in the evenings! The washing is happening though thanks to the sunshine!

So....just started with TOMM last week. Am I the only person who doesn't ordinarily change the beds as frequently as once a week?

Just been discussing TOMM with a neighbour and worried I've made myself out to be a scruffy cow. I said we'd probably do them once a fortnight rather than once a.week.

DustyDoorframes · 11/04/2020 18:51

Hah, I rotate and do one or two beds per week (DD(3)'s gets changed when she wets it...), which comes out at roughly once per fortnight. Also 30 mins it's enough of a stretch for getting bedrooms done even without changing all the beds!!! "Quick minesweep under the beds" in the kids' room is usually more like a police raid on a dodgy antiques shop...

Yogawoogie · 13/04/2020 12:05

I do mine once a week or sometimes twice because I get hot and sweaty.

DustyDoorframes · 13/04/2020 12:17

@Littlehouseinthebigcity I somehow missed your post. I thought I'd be the same but weirdly not, I think having the days all the same is helping me. Depressing if I think about it too much!
Also I'm more motivated as usually we have people over a lot so do a lot of guest cleaning. And I don't want to descend into total grime without that.

Littlehouseinthebigcity · 05/05/2020 22:09

I feel like I'm finally getting into the swing of it again now. Mixed up the days a bit just by what was convenient round the kids but am happy the house is starting to look clean again. How are other people getting on with lockdown life?
