Right you horrible lot stop nattering so much nah it wouldn't be fun if you did

So you have wandered into this corner of MN were the fledglings - a long running but very friendly group welcomes newbies and follows the flylady way to try to get decluttered and on top of the boring stuff in order to have more time for the fun other boring but essential stuff

No idea whose turn it was to run the thread this month but here it the thread and we can figure it out from there.

Stilllivinginazoo · 15/03/2018 21:52

Min 3hour wait apparently...
On those odds be gone 11,prob nearer to 12 before seen properly
Dp already text just wants go bed,no tea when gets in
DS feels fuzzy apparently.i said that'll be the morphine!

Afreshcuppateaplease · 15/03/2018 21:56

zoo where is dd1? Any chance you could get her watch other two and you go to hospital?

When one of ours was in once dp did first 6 hours and then i went and swapped

CotswoldStrife · 15/03/2018 22:17

zoo if only one of us was nearby Flowers I hope your DS is OK, the long wait is such a pain but if it was anything urgent they would deal with it, so he's in the best place.

Hills what happened at the parents evening? All issues listened to equally here with no judgement so vent away.

Stilllivinginazoo · 15/03/2018 22:33

Dd1 in Amsterdam til tom afresh

Stilllivinginazoo · 15/03/2018 22:34

Stilllivinginazoo · 15/03/2018 22:38

I just text them.still waiting.......

Afreshcuppateaplease · 15/03/2018 22:48

Maybe talking to doctor zoo

HillsBesideTheSea · 15/03/2018 23:07

I have vented on FB it is a bit outing if I vent in two places so I am not going to but lets just say that it was not the easiest of parents evenings and I am grateful the school is as good as it is.

SOrry to hear you have not heard anything yet zoo I second the motion to see if it is possible for dd1 to give a hand in this situation. Poor dp must be exhausted.

Fair enough Hills, that sounds a sensible tactic. It's good if the school seem to be on top of it (or at least keeping an eye on it). Flowers

zoo I don't suppose DD2 could stay at home with her sibling while you go out, or would that provoke even more claims that DS is getting all the attention?!

I will post the links in a min. DH has been off work today so we have overeaten for breakfast and pub lunch. DD had chicken poppets and chips for tea, we just had chicken burgers with wraps and cheese.

Hi,
Oh. How awful zoo. Hope he is alright.
I'vehad concussion. A few times.usually from riding. Well falling off actually . I used to ride some mad bloody horses.one jumped a five foot fence. It wasn't a jump just a fence, buckled in soft sand around the swimming pool and I had. Broken nose, concussion and two black eyes! Fell off mine jumping when three boys frightened him, had concussion at school ( didn't tell mum) found out 55 years later I had a decompressed fracture of the skull( GP ) and a couple of other times once was at school when someone kindly hit me. On the back of the head with a shoe and I hit the step. Concussion and fractured skull.
Bloody awful headaches and three noisy sisters! As my mum was a nurse they left me at home. I survived.

Could a neighbour watch them while you swap?
I've just had my tea ...four frankfurters and a fried egg. Couldn't be bothered to wait for anything else.starving. Just back from comp.
We came second and we won the other section. Yeah,.o we were ecstatic!
Made up for the shitty day I had. No flying here. Admired shiny, clean shower screen. Mr Muscle glass cleaner. Cleaner at school recommended it. She says it takes all the mucky hands and snot off the glass doors.😄
I'm now eating chocolate ginger in bed! Mind you I ate the frankfurters and fried egg in bed too. I am absolutely knackered. Never stopped today , no lunch as had behavioural.
Hope he is back home by now zoo.

Bowerbird5 · 15/03/2018 23:24

Sorry about the crappy grammar I have had a little celebration drink or two and as I had no breakfast, lunch or tea bar an orange & M& S sandwich at five.I think it has gone to my head!

Bowerbird5 · 15/03/2018 23:25

I have 26 bees to cut out...I think I may leave it till tomorrow😳

Stilllivinginazoo · 15/03/2018 23:42

No news
There's only a neighbour on one side, who works nights...
Most my street keep to themselves.lots of ethnic variety some not even speaking English(Somali,polish/eastern block)smile in passing etc, they not mean, but not someone you could ask to help....
Dd2 frets more than lil zoo so no,not suitable leave her in charge of even a blade of grass tbh.and she's now bitching is he going school timid not that's unfair,I have go with headache and bad throat
She has a lot of issues....

Still no word.i am exhausted but can't leave door unlocked and they haven't taken keys as I stupidly thought as 111deem seen in hour they would be back at a civilised time.been in there almost 4 hours....

Cagliostro · 15/03/2018 23:45

Really hope all is ok

Exhausted here and resigned to a shit weekend. Two family things happen to be on consecutive days, both one offs but what shit timing to have them together, DH will be off doing those and we found out that they will involve earlier starts than we originally thought. I am expecting to get fuck all done, I don’t even know how I’ll manage food or anything because I am in a lot of pain ATM.

And clearly I haven’t gone to bed yet, sigh

Stilllivinginazoo · 16/03/2018 00:04

They just rang.heading home.has mild concussion.headache may last up to 19 days.no school tom.no peril headaches gone.gave leaflet on things to look out for

Afreshcuppateaplease · 16/03/2018 04:42

Glad he is 'ok" zoo could be much worse!

Ds3 up at 440 so there goes my nights of better sleep!

Afreshcuppateaplease · 16/03/2018 04:55

430 not 440

That matters Sad

Bowerbird5 · 16/03/2018 05:53

Thank goodness for that zoo. I am so glad he is ok. Will you be able to have a nap today? Some quiet time together will be a lovely chance to spoil him a little. Ah sibling rivalry there is nothing like it. DD still complains she 26 for goodness sake!

Afresh yes, ten minutes does make a difference at times. So does half an hour. Why couldn't I wake at 6 instead of 5:30? Now I have the dilemma of whether to try for another hours sleep or get up now. Tired but have lots to do since I didn't get in till eleven a little tipsy by re reading that post. I only had two drinks wine in town and a generous malt whisky by landlord's heavy measure. Slept well.
Sorry to hear you are in pain Cags with a hard weekend ahead. You'll have to try and rope kids in for cleaning and a future promise or just that you need help and families need to pull together talk.

Stilllivinginazoo · 16/03/2018 05:54

I've been up most the night despite be exhausted afresh

Hills I am so sorry I wasn't sympathetic last night.just reread thread and saw about D's parents eve being difficult.i hope today is better, and if not better then at least Allan developed as to how you can move forwards.bloody boys!!Flowers

Tada
Sat with D's at 230 while he cried-think the shock of what happened has hit him along with enormity of what could've happened to him....

To do
Ring school n speak head of year.other aw it happen but no one said anything when teacher came out.i am also more concerned D's cannot bring himself to tell anyone if something's wrong.i shudders thought whatcoildve happened post invwdent until he got home as no one would've known had he collapse why

Sort cupboard understairs-breed BRC again,

Try be patient dd2 as it's not selfishness that drives her sense of indignation atbe only one has to go school today

Stilllivinginazoo · 16/03/2018 05:56

Stilllivinginazoo · 16/03/2018 05:57
