Thanks Stressy not up yet but I did sleep most of the night so feel better for that. Debating whether to go to an art thing or not. It is to make banners for the 100 year March for Women. I said I would go. It will be relaxing once I am there and I don't have to stay all day. My legs are aching this morning, weird.

Ah inflation strikes again ...it used to be £5. Some charities did it. I might suggest it at church for Ladies group. Wish I had thought of it for Lent that would have been a good one. Maybe school hols when I have time. I would do baking or felting. Soaps are a good idea but I don't know what chocolate bark is but sounds yummy.

I decide to behave and stay home. I couldn't face the drive in and the 100 steps from the car park! GP hasn't sent prescription to pharmacy I wonder if receptionist forgot to take it. I left it at one surgery thinking he would be there to find he wasn't but would be at other one and she was going there at 1pm. Hmm. I can't imagine him not sending it through, he is very efficient and sends my repeats while I am still in there. I put a letter in explaining. Should have sent cake 😄

Anyway Ta Das Lamb Shanks in slow cooker. Lamb, onion, garlic, tin tomatoes, those expensive ones in oil half pot as bargain in Sainsbos and thinking of adding anchovies as I have seen people raving about the combination. Stock. Simmering away nicely. That will do tonight and tomorrow's meal. Monday is fish cakes, baked potato. Tuesday is either stir fry chicken, ginger, bamboo shoots and water chestnuts or Quorn SPAG bol. See how organised when I am on my own! Going to try and lose some weight. So cutting down on meat. Two meat, two fish, two veggie, one pot luck for the week. Try to have veggie / vegan lunches if I get to eat lunch 😤 none yesterday. Zoo has inspired me to cook again I have been churning out same old stuff for the last year. I used to be a very adventurous cook but forty plus years of it meant I waned especially when DH says nothing after slaving for hours then stir fry from butcher or a ready meal gets " oh that was lovely." 😷😤😡
I am a good cook it isn't because I am crap.😁 MEN!

bower chocolate bark is just melted chocolate poured into a lined tray and spread out a bit then swirl in but contrasting choc or drop bits like marshmallows,dried fruit n nuts etc.leave to harden n snap into bits 😋

In other news-LIL ZOO HAS DONE A POO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
unfortunately still has tummyache and has finally verbalised she has a big tummy that feels full all the time,so assume means bloated(as been slumming in nightie and keeping me well away from potential prodding her I've not been permitted a good look til she said that and i ask her hoik it out and look n behold she's got a pot belly where once a six pack sat)am I right in thinking she needs see doctor Monday?

How did the soap making go zoo. I had a little facial due to your post. DD gave me a vegan face box so I got it out and after a warm flannel used the facial scrub and then cream. Swear I look ten years younger. 😁 so thanks zoo.

Cleaned some of hot spot but don't know where to put other stuff.
Found two pieces of the clock I wasn't looking for but not the one I was.
Also washing up, wiped work tops. Made some cake for choir.
Sorted one box of school SEN stuff and ripped up 20 maths books. Take unused part back to school. Trying to declutter bags of school stuff little by little.
Cleaned out a drawer and it now houses left over Christmas stuff.
Feel a it better not as tired.

Def needs a medic's opinion there zoo, I'd be tempted to risk the out of hours service at the weekend often easier to get an appointment there than our GP though

I do feel a lot better than earlier this week, still feel quite weak though. Took DD to her morning activity and then we went out to see someone this afternoon too. Glad to be home with a glass of wine now. Had a couple of cups of coffee, hope I get some sleep tonight Need to get a mega to-do list sorted for the week to keep me on track and get everything done! I have spent the majority of this week asleep!

Dd has just asked me what is mothers day for. I said to say thankyou to your mum for the things she does for you.
She has chosen to thank me for a) tidying her bedroom and b) teaching her to rollerskate

DD has some elaborate plans, and I have completely ruined all surprises by making sure DH knows about them, buying the breakfast she wants to make in the main food shop and collecting the present she made at a local pottery painting place myself. She's picked up somewhere that she's supposed to make me breakfast in bed, and she's excited about it. It's very lovely, and she's just rushed downstairs to give DH his orders.

Cotswold OOH bloody nightmare here,ring and then wait hours to triage call followed by an app there that 2 billion others given same time for.last attempt was a 5HOUR wait even with an appointment time(I am not NHS bashing btw)I'd rather spend forever a while try get thru to doctors(think hours)and get triage call back from then within an hour and as child seen within couple hours of that max...
