Hello all - welcome to our February thread for 2018. Everyone is welcome and it's never too late to join in. We are decluttering our homes and keeping them clean and tidy(ish) as well as having some general chat as well.

We follow the Flylady method, and will post links daily to the missions via the Flylady website. For more information, have a look at www.flylady.net/

Here's to a fun February for all of us (with the occasional prod from the pointy stick of motivation and visits to the naughty corner Cake Brew Wine ) Grin

Welcome Lucky

Craft classes went so much better than I expected today. Some of the residents want everything to be useful and while I try my best some techniques are mainly about the enjoyment of doing it.

Earlyish night for me, new set of crochet classes start first thing tomorrow.

Cagliostro · 17/02/2018 00:29

Must pick up nappies tomorrow too.

Late to bed but I wanted to see DH as I hadn’t since yesterday morning. He is most pleased with Cagletini’s new Thunderbirds onesie :o

ta da
✅sorted out some of the stuff we kept at mum’s
✅tried on a load of her jeans that don’t fit her... free clothes woohoo!
✅investigate travel cots

Sooooo tired 💤

CotswoldStrife · 17/02/2018 00:43

Welcome Lucky, good to have you with us.

Will post the links for tomorrow now, did a bit of washing up before and was absolutely shattered afterwards! Hopefully a good sleep tonight will help

DH did take loads of bags to the tip the other day, I've been gradually sorting through stuff and it's good to have them all out of the way! Still more stuff to go though, DD is growing at unprecedented speed Grin

I really really dislike peppa pig

I have just spattered my first coffee over everything at this! Some of the concepts are so sexist (Peppa rides in the carriage, George rides the horse etc) and I only watch it occasionally when looking after my granddaughters. My DIL sees nothing wrong in it so I keep quiet but am sad to watch elder DGD turning into a princess.

Afreshcuppateaplease · 17/02/2018 07:47

You would like my dd honu if she could be any character she would be optimus prime

Bowerbird5 · 17/02/2018 08:28

Will get up shortly and make you a mama pig roll...sausage or bacon?

We have a once a month fry up when DH is home( sometimes twice). Today is that day.

Waves to zoo that is amazing we were posting seconds apart how weird!
I 've been awake in the night then at 5:30pm have been up and made tea ( forgot to replenish bedside stash) and put oranges in to heat up for an hour. Making orange and lemon this time thinking I might add some whisky to half the batch. Feel better than yesterday. 😄
Came back to bed with tea and ipad😀
Been on Pinterest 😊 looking at kitchens and emotional literacy stuff and pinning other people's great ideas. Wonders if there is a marmalade one ohhh! Hadn't thought of that till this minute.
I laughed about peppa pig and the hog roast. I can't say I have ever watched it must have a look. Will get up by 9 am. I am getting really lazy since I have been ill! I used always be up at 6 even on days off. IPad helps though. I will have to be up next week back full time 4 days.

Delicious magazine have a chicken and smoked ham hock pie recipe and a few others. It sounds yummy. I just typed in ham hock and loads came up including pies. So there you go. I would post link if I wa ICT savvy.

Bowerbird5 · 17/02/2018 09:30

No flying here yet either. Well I did fill, wash oranges and put on but then I flew back to bed with a cup of tea! 👌I then was distracted by Mumsnet and Pinterest. Yes they do have marmalade loads including Seville Orange and Whisky and Lime and Gin😋

Bowerbird5 · 17/02/2018 09:32
