February Fabulosity with the fledglings, Flylady Feb 2018 thread

Hello all - welcome to our February thread for 2018. Everyone is welcome and it's never too late to join in. We are decluttering our homes and keeping them clean and tidy(ish) as well as having some general chat as well.

We follow the Flylady method, and will post links daily to the missions via the Flylady website. For more information, have a look at www.flylady.net/

Here's to a fun February for all of us (with the occasional prod from the pointy stick of motivation and visits to the naughty corner )

Apart from that little outburst (ho hum) I was just dropping in to say

So behind in visitor/weekend prep it is untrue but have accomplished lots of washing (but not enough) baking and cooking and bed linen prep... that will have to do. For once having visitors that we actually desperately want to see so can't wait!

And although dd signed off by doctor, she is planning to pop in to school today to collect her report and work for half term so she doesn't get too behind, so at least she can catch up a bit over the holidays, and she is getting a bit better I think.

Half a great half-term holiday everyone - if it is half in UK where you are - and hope everyone who is poorly now, or whose dc are ailing, making speedy recoveries!!

Dd up twice in night but went back sleep straight away so will see what shes like when shes up.

We have another week before half term thank god. Ive already threatened the cellar this week as the bickering has been terrible.

Does it have to be morning yet?

Ds3 says YES hills

My cold didn't come to much but have woken up with a horrible cough when will it start warming up I'm fed up of the winter!

bower its a tiny slide we don't live in a mansion haha!

Dh going in to work late today so he has kindly bought me a coffee up. Need to get moving though.

Not until after feb. Feb is always the harshest winter month here. If we get snow most of the time it is around feb half term. Sorry.

Nightmare had me up early. Feeling very meh and zzzzzz. I suspect today I will be in hyperactive zombie mode.

Lil zoo been ready since 735.we leave at 815!!

Mufti today.dd2 still well below par so she's beg me to drop off her french comic strip homework(pass her school en route to lil zoos)it was 3 week project and no translating anything from tinterweb.shes very proud of it and doesn't want anyone thinking she's stay off as not done it!!

I need ring gp after 2 to check her reflux meds ready and been digitally sent to pharmacy near lil zoo school,then check that it will be ready at pick up(hopeful-im told collections are usually after 4,it be about 20 to get up there)

Right need check zoolets made beds and get ready to go!!

I need a new back,mine plays up dreadfully but you know I mean baking

Exellent work ethic from your dd zoo hope she gets a good mark for her project to cheer her up!

I need to do something useful. I have really dry itchy eyes and its making me want to shut them and go back to sleep.

Morning. Went back to sleep eventually till 7:45

Fed little hen cheeky thing followed me in (when I went for logs ) right into sitting room, prayed she didn't poo on good wool carpet and explained as I scooped her up that she is NOT allowed in their even on Christmas Day! So it was breakfast out in the cold however I always make her some warm mash. I swear she knows when that kitchen light goes on she is there pecking on the glass door as soon as I am up.

Rang surgery as I am supposed to see GP but no appointments. I have paperwork to drop off so will put a note in it and hope he phones me later. He probably will cos ...I'm special! The did offer me someone else but I said he has already been part of this treatment. I don't actually see anyone else except occasionally one who is very clever.
Suppose I will have to get up now.
I need to catch the bus in. It isn't until about 10:15- 10:30am depending on how many pick ups and how much snow. It starts in a very snowy village so it maybe near 10:30 we have no snow now it has all melted in the rain😢 it looked so pretty. I am on half term next week thank goodness.
Foxes now I have image of him getting stuck on the slide ew!

Also have boiler repair person (minor fault thankfully) and a plumber coming today to look at a job.
General house tidy, admin and kitchen decluttering if I can achieve any of that.

toostressyI live in a council house and if get lots workmen in over period day or two gets you a reputation for having them all buzzing round😂

Afternoon all, I have so much admin, bill paying and emailing to do - because I haven't done it, and spent the morning in Costa instead! Ho hum.

Half-term for us next week, we are celebrating today with an out-of-school activity after a GP appointment because DD is still suffering a bit.

Flying-wise some slight washing up and I've emptied/reloaded the dishwasher. Not very impressive really. Will catch up tonight
