Morning.

Tomorrow is December 1st which means roll call for the fledglings and shiny new thread. It might seem a bit clicky but it is because it is a long term thread, park your arse in the naughty corner for moral support, natter and various delicious goodies. Oh and smidge of housework too.

We follow the flylady system HOWEVER we adapt it to suit the circumstances of our lifes and sometimes we ignore the slightly more fluffy/bonkers babysteps --because we can and there ain't no one the boss of us

Well Morrisons have decided they cannot provide me with any bacon or sausages! Angry as if they have none. Wankers.

Dc are off school now. I need to go out and pick up some stuff. I need to buy dp another present but dont know what. I need to clean and tidy my house. Order some kitchen stuff online. And paint a wall.

Yawn.

Stilllivinginazoo · 20/12/2017 08:16

Very poor afresh.DP has a book on its way.so far that is all......
I need clear up, wrap like a possessed woman and do all usual crap too
Aaaaaaargh...

foxessocks · 20/12/2017 08:36

Morning all. That's crap afresh

Well ds got up at 4 today (he is poorly again) he finally went back to sleep at 7 and then dd got up at 7.30 so I didn't manage any more sleep and I feel exhausted now. We are all in my bed and I just can't be bothered to get up! Really hope I find some energy from somewhere or today will be a struggle.

To do
Put chilli in the slow cooker
Daily routine
Remove stuff that doesn't belong in bedroom (haha)
Declutter in bedroom
Anti procrastination - send last few xmas cards!!
Pick up parcel / some groceries

Sludgecolours · 20/12/2017 09:33

That sounds exhausting Foxes sorry your ds is poorly again poor lad.

I guess pigs in blankets are off then Afreshstart? Shock.
That is very poor going indeed from Morrisons. Good luck with your list.

Congrats on such an early and productive start to the day Zoo

Wing flaps to Bowerbird5 Hills Jellyfish CallmeCordelia Longtime ,Cotswold Whoknows Cag Mercury. Honu* Toostressy and everyone I've missed.

Still not left. Still behind with everything and I'm still feeling below par. DD curled up in pain on sofa with bad period pain. Her party is tomorrow in wreck2, aargh....

Bowerbird5 · 20/12/2017 09:36

Morning. Well nearly afternoon for some. I didn't go to bed till after 12 and despite waking twice I managed to go back to sleep usually awake around 3:30 but went back to sleep woke at 5:30 and was thinking if I got up all the things I could get done and must have drifted off just woke now at 9:20 😳 I never sleep in like that just as well not a school day as I rarely use an alarm!
Bet fire is out😞 so when I get up I will put kettle on ( anyone ready for a cuppa) gather logs and coal, light fire.
Admire tidy sitting room and tree.
Remove last pile of crap to go through.
Clean kitchen.
Wash floor
Check stuff for mince pie making. I might make them today.
Dining room table.
Oh Wednesday so bed change to do. Bedroom a mess mainly bedding box as has piled up clothes sheets etc that didn't get put away.
Anti procrastination : post sisters cards and ring Doctors. I now have pain in side it comes and goes I think it is a hernia and is getting worse. Probably from coughing.

Cagliostro · 20/12/2017 10:57

Oh no sorry about all the poorliness.

Feeling very blah here and wishing I hadn't eaten all the Bakewells last night! I think sometimes staying in bed makes me feel worse. I actually felt relatively awake this morning so I should've got up. Cagletini slept 4hrs straight in her basket, longest in there so far.

Caglets have activities tonight then I have nandos with mum friends. Should really try and achieve something before then. Unfortunately a friend mentioned tummy bugs and that's got me all anxious

HillsBesideTheSea · 20/12/2017 13:05

So i finally managed to get some sleep around half 5. Ds came in at 7:30 to do homework, homework he had been told to do the night before Angry but he got his homework done and headed off to school and I cut my losses and went back to bed to sleep. Only really just got up so going to head for coffee, clothes and the long to do list.

We have planned out roughly what needs to happen each day so that helps but it does mean that I have to be on the ball. And as we have someone coming to fix a leak in the bathroom tomo I want to get that deep cleaned today. Ds needs to pick up his glasses. I need to take apart my bed to rescue my glasses and store the collapsed box that was taken out of ds' room. Friday I am party catering so I need to check I have everything I need for that, and Sunday we are Christmas baking so again I need to double check i have in the ingredients.

Best get cracking then hadn't I

cag i feel a lot worse if I have a lot of sugar, i have to be careful but hate it because it is the only way to stave off migraines sometimes.

Callme yep a troll and socks/lackies So hard to ignore and not engage. And just like the old days but these were seriously lacking in style
Bower you clearly needed the sleep hope you had a productive day.

Sorry suffering a lot of wrist pain atm and typing hurts. Sad

foxessocks · 20/12/2017 13:15

Ta das
Daily routine
Posted last few cards
Took bottles and textiles to recycling
Got parcel and groceries
Managed to get ds down for a nap and managed to only shout a couple of times at the kids so far... (they are both tired and grumpy and so am I!)

To do
Mission
Declutter in bedroom (which may be just wrapping again as that does declutter at the same time!!)
Cook chilli (decided against slow cooker version as didn't get round to it in time!)
Ironing

And if I can find the motivation to do some Christmas prep, I refuse to go mad tidying even though we have visitors because the house will be a mess again within five mins anyway with the little ones about BUT there are a few bits and pieces especially in the kitchen that I can move and sort out so we have more space for cooking.

Got a lovely new mirror for the living room yesterday too and a big photo frame but then realised all the photos I ordered were the wrong size for it grr. ..

Anyway waffling over now!

Hope your dd recovers intime for her party sc

Sludgecolours · 20/12/2017 13:24

Bowerbird I hope you can get an appointment at the doctors asap!

Cag hope you feel better as day goes on!

Hills we have similar "what we must do each day list" to plough through! Good luck with yours!

Wow you have been impressively productive this morning Foxes! Star That takes a lot of doing with little 'uns about!Star Thanks, dd is feeling ok now I think, the fact that the school ring today if she has more than a certain number of exam failures is not helping! We sincerely hope there won't be a problem, but every time the phone does ring, we all feel a bit worried!

Bowerbird5 · 20/12/2017 16:02

Yes, you're right Hills.I stayed in bed longer than planned even after the sleep in but actually felt a lot better once I got going. I didn't manage to get appointment. They have a mad ring at 8 system, but she assures me they have lots tomorrow.Hope so otherwise I will ask for telephone app. and then he might say come downGrin he knows me well and knows I wont be fussing.Side has hurt today but managed to push back in which I couldn't do last night. If they just gave me a scan I am fairly sure that is what it would show. I have asthma too at the moment but mild weather here today so seems a bit better. Not sure if good enough for a sing!

So I have cleared all sink area and have shiny sinks.
Put away and loaded dishwasher, cleared and cleaned windowsill. Worktops done and hob.
3 loads of washing.
Reorganised some stuff.
So just have table and floor to do.
Sorted stuff that fell over in shed in dark when i was after tree stand last night.
Cleaned out side toilet in case veggie man needs a wee, due soon.

Found some more boxes of decs. OOPS! Found swag I don't remember buying must have been in sales afterwards. Just need to figure out how to hold them up.Any ideas? I was thinking some wire.We have inglenook but no mantle. Christmas is the only time I wish we did.

Thinking I might dump stuff in dining room so two rooms look tidy and just need to wade through one room.Bedroom will have to wait. It doesn't look much when written but spent four hours.

Oh I did chicken bowls and swept and washed path outside.
Wiped front door to put wreath up when I find one of those door things.I know I bought two. DH denies knowing the whereabouts of them but I am suspicious as if he doesn't know what something is he slings it instead of asking.

Sorry to hear others not so well either especially little ones.
Lets keep going were nearly there. Small steps do make a difference. I have the radio on instead of telly which has been a cheery help without getting distracted and watching something.Right tea break over so back to clear table and wash floor.
Need to be at hospital at 6.15pm and need shower and change.

Bowerbird5 · 20/12/2017 16:06

Wonder where those Bakewells had gone when I popped in before bed! Pokes cags with the pointy stick. Caglitini must like them though if slept four hours impressive.

foxessocks · 20/12/2017 16:54

Ta das
Some present wrapping
Finally removed Hoover from our bedroom
Went and got loads more xmas stuff with dh and kids
Cleaned one kitchen side properly
Chilli cooking jacket potatoes cooking

Unfortunately during all of this I have argued countless times with dh and dd - her behaviour has been appalling today! Have tried to make up with everyone before dinner and bed time but we are all pretty fed up Sad

Hope everyone else is feeling more festive than me right now?!

Sludgecolours · 20/12/2017 17:00

Nope. I struggled around the supermarket shopping for dd's party tomorrow (well, I call it a party, there are only eight of them) but had to argue with her to help put the stuff away, argue with her to get stuff ready for the morning and not leaving it until the last min, and argue with her to help pack. The party was her idea in the first place fhs!!!

Still, at least there has been no phone call from the school, so looks like she has passed the majority of her exams which is good.

Bowerbird5 · 20/12/2017 17:16

oh that's great sludge.Always a worry unless you have genius kids.

DS1 has just turned up. Without his hamper basket but persuaded him to buy cheese or fish for Christmas Dinner. Time they contributed.
