Tomorrow is December 1st which means roll call for the fledglings and shiny new thread. It might seem a bit clicky but it is because it is a long term thread, park your arse in the naughty corner for moral support, natter and various delicious goodies. Oh and smidge of housework too.

We follow the flylady system HOWEVER we adapt it to suit the circumstances of our lifes and sometimes we ignore the slightly more fluffy/bonkers babysteps --because we can and there ain't no one the boss of us

I am so cross with myself. Did make veg casserole and do more laundry but I allowed myself to be distracted by builders and dh and dd being in and out all day and I will get involved in Brexit threads when I should know better. Didn't do anythign towards Christmas (again). And of course because I have lots of deadlines, instead of getting on with things, I procrastinate and avoid instead. [Drags self to haughty/naughty corner. Slumps]

I am actually impressed that there is no gluten free flour in the recipes I looked at. Tbh I just want something for on the go grab lunches that can be eaten. Other people have tried the scones and it appears that generally they were different in flavour but ok. mum suggested using a finer sieve as the baking powder could have clumped together. But as she managed to eat three of them they couldn't have been that bad

I have given up for tonight. I have not finished everything i needed to do and half of what i did do was a shove and hide approach.

Has anyone else had a really loud noise start on this thread? I think it was an ad but I couldn't find it to tell it to fuck off.

I didnt wash up last night(ds took residence in my lap) and kitchen floor SHOULD be revolting shade of mustard tiles but looks more brown currently

These need be sorted immediately before he,kits(still eating)and zoolets are underfoot

Todays plan is the internet chunk of xmas shopping and panic cleaning for DP sisters visit thus weekend

Everyone a bit tetchy and stressed here (including the dog who is barking at the slightest banging noise from builders). I am trying to finish some work and do Christmas shopping with limited budget and a dearth of good ideas. All the things I like have sold out! Heigh ho .... On the positive side, cleaning lady has been and done a thorough "do" so we won't die of dust ingestion.

I'm the same sc because seeing a big list of jobs does make you feel so overwhelmed never mind working through it. You sometimes don't know where to start. I always make huge lists whne I have a day off. I think for me after work the dsy feels more structured and less time makes me more proactive too.

We went pick up letter gp promised for ds school.i sat in car with ds.DP pop in to get it.dp had carkeys so unlocked and ds faint.i thrn stuck(phone home charging) in car wait .took 35mins and return empty handed.gp wasnt in.day off mon n letter werent done.i was at this poi t 15 mins late get lil zok.dp had his phone so rang them on my way.by time got thru school run traffic i was near 45 mins late.dd2 was griwling cold n locked out ehen we hot back then top ut all i rang ds school n was on hold 20 mins.no answer

Feel like I've done fuck all today other than baby stuff... feed and change and feed and change and feed and change

I have also done some laundry. Yay. And did a little more money stuff and chased up some home ed subscriptions etc.

I should mention my biggest achievement though which is that we went for a walk to the shops and back. This is a big deal as I've only managed it a couple of times with a big break in the middle (taekwondo is in the same place) and since 2012 the idea of walking there and back was unthinkable due to my health. But today I decided to try and I did it! Yay!!!

We are currently watching Kiki. :)
