My house/Zoflora

Posting here for traffic.
My house is a bit horrid. I have pets and a messy DH (who does get on board when I have a proper 'spruce' but doesn't notice the daily grime). I can keep on top of genuine rubbish but clutter builds easily. I know nobody can sort this out for me and I am working on it.
What bothers me most is smell. Although it's clean ish, it doesn't smell fresh. I do open windows for a bit every day.
I bought some miracle potion Zoflora yesterday and already mop the floors with it. I want to know what I can do with it as almost like a reed diffuser/air freshener?
I don't put the heating on much (have a log burner) so don't think putting it on radiators would work. I do hoover relatively regularly so can try the cotton wool trick. Anything else I could try? Is it really safe to spray on curtains? Any other tips for a pet household for smell? Thanks in advance!

I'm going to buy some of this tomorrow purely because of this thread.
My house always smells stale, is zoflora going to change my life?

As a result of this thread I actually got off my bum and cleaned the house so thank you.

It's done an amazing job on my smeary windows! I was always careful not to get them when cleaning the ledges with it - what a mistake!!

Some of you are hard core on here.

I just wiped the worktops and couldn't be bothered to get the Zoflora out so just sprayed it with Method spray instead.

I feel a failure. Sad

Linen!! I got bored of the measuring and just bunged some in my mop bucket, I'm a bit overwhelmed by the smell...

Thank you FlipFlops I had worried the cleaning sponges might be a little too much.

Kidnapped No need to worry. It's not like I am bathing in the stuff or anything. Yet.

Excellent choice fuzzy I like to use linen when I wish to create the illusion of having done lots of laundry and being a generally good egg who is on top of her ironing. Oh yes. No laundry mountain here.

I have found my people.

Spray the diluted stuff everywhere - soft furnishing, surfaces, door frames and handles, radiators etc

Neat in the washing machine

On the steam mop pad

In the sink - either down the drain or in hot water.

I love Linen but need to try Rose. I like 'clean' fresh smells, so the Christmassy ones don't sound like they're for me?

Just started using it today on the back of this thread and I love it! Quick question though, if you dilute it by 1 part to 40 and then use it in a spray bottle as a room freshener then wouldn't it get into your eyes? Is that safe?

When I was teacher training, one of our lecturers suggested keeping a washing up bowl to be a designated sick bowl in the classroom, alongside some zoflora to mask any vom smell. I think she too may have been a zoflora convert!

Oh Neep with these pictures you are really spoiling us! Grin

I don't know about laminate flooring, prob fine but if it's not I don't Want to have been the one to encourage you, sorry Fuzzy. I would wonder about any glue or is it the click type of flooring? I have the same concerns about using it in my steam cleaner even though I am longing too. My steamer is an old one, bought it when they first got more popular approx 7yrs or so,ago. Anyway on another ZoFlo thread a couple of people said it had ruined the seal on their steamers so don't know now.
I am addicted to putting some in the detergent drawer now; not only does it give me peace of mind when I was at really low temps but it also fragrances the laundry and makes it very soft. Gotta be the linen one for that, every time!
