My house/Zoflora

Posting here for traffic.
My house is a bit horrid. I have pets and a messy DH (who does get on board when I have a proper 'spruce' but doesn't notice the daily grime). I can keep on top of genuine rubbish but clutter builds easily. I know nobody can sort this out for me and I am working on it.
What bothers me most is smell. Although it's clean ish, it doesn't smell fresh. I do open windows for a bit every day.
I bought some miracle potion Zoflora yesterday and already mop the floors with it. I want to know what I can do with it as almost like a reed diffuser/air freshener?
I don't put the heating on much (have a log burner) so don't think putting it on radiators would work. I do hoover relatively regularly so can try the cotton wool trick. Anything else I could try? Is it really safe to spray on curtains? Any other tips for a pet household for smell? Thanks in advance!

Midnight Winter? Tell me this is an error and not another new and elusive scent for me to track down? Finally managed to get Winter Morning today and replaced my glorious Warm Cinnamon. Now I must stop - I think 10 bottles is enough for now!

Right I used it instead of fabric conditioner today on sweaty gym clothes in the washing machine. And while the clothes smell nice it hasn't made the house smell nice. Guess I need to mop the floor don't I?

Hit tesco today. Twilight, winter thingy and green valley are in my house. I saw someone waiting for me to stop smelling le bouteille de zoflo. Was it a fellow mumsnetter?

Dogs collar was in the wash so hopefully the dog will smell nice rather than of fox poo. I'll make sure collar is dry before she gets it back.

Done the dishwasher now and the dishwasher smells nice.

I've got a bowl of linen solution stewing in the kitchen, the smell is emanating through the house. Heaven.

I bought my first Zoflora today, the linen one. I couldn't be arsed to clean anything today so I put my teenagers trainers in for a wash with Zoflora. Now the heating is on his bedroom is smelling better as I put them to dry in his room.

I'm going to tackle the en-suite tomorrow, the bottle is tiny tho so it will probably be empty by the time I'm done.

Mmmm. I like putting a capful in with the laundry. The fragrance lasts for ages. I can also put a different one in each time so each load smells different and you don't get 'nose blindness' or whatever it's called.

I use Surf and Comfort Creations so my laundry always smells fab anyway

Think DH might be allergic to Zoflora! Oh well, bought an extra two bottles and considering a divorce. House will definitely smell better then..

Mozfan I have left linen and hot water in the washing up bowl every day since you recommended it and it has been a revelation! My flat actually smells nice (like a grown up's home!) and not like stale food

When I bought my home, the bank sent a big box of goodies, zoflora in linen being one of them. I love it!

Nationwide. The box had tea, mugs, apron, toilet and kitchen roll, toilet wipes, cif, zoflora, squash, some kiddies activities and sweeties for them.

That's a quality service. I used them for a mortgage years ago and got diddly squat! I must be doing something wrong.

Inspired by this thread I've bought my first bottle - winter morning - and sprayed it liberally around my kitchen, including adding a capful to the final rinse of my towel wash. But I'm so full of cold I can't smell anything at all. Reassure me that my house smells beautiful, rather than of stinky spaniel?

Getting giddy that my spray bottle of linen is almost empty, nearly time for Spring! In zoflo terms only of course!

Having read thru all this I'm ashamed to say I've never heard of this stuff, but really want to try it now. It sounds so much more exciting than the regular Pine disinfectant I use! Does anyone know whether I can get it in Australia??

Airing cupboards are another good place to clean with zoflora. I do it a few times a year as gets quite dusty

Was quite literally salivating in Sainsbury's earlier...what a time to be alive (as all the cool kids are saying right now).

Popped my cherry with Linen a couple of weeks ago, then moved onto Winter Spice (yum) and Winter Morning (lush). Plumped for Warm Cinnamon today and can't wait to start using it. Was totally torn as had read such good things about Twilight Garden on here. Will clean my house lots and return to try that one soon I'm sure
