My house/Zoflora

Posting here for traffic.
My house is a bit horrid. I have pets and a messy DH (who does get on board when I have a proper 'spruce' but doesn't notice the daily grime). I can keep on top of genuine rubbish but clutter builds easily. I know nobody can sort this out for me and I am working on it.
What bothers me most is smell. Although it's clean ish, it doesn't smell fresh. I do open windows for a bit every day.
I bought some miracle potion Zoflora yesterday and already mop the floors with it. I want to know what I can do with it as almost like a reed diffuser/air freshener?
I don't put the heating on much (have a log burner) so don't think putting it on radiators would work. I do hoover relatively regularly so can try the cotton wool trick. Anything else I could try? Is it really safe to spray on curtains? Any other tips for a pet household for smell? Thanks in advance!

i got double size orange scent from Asda, reduced to £2 earlier and couldnt resist poping into poundshop for Linen
I know who to blame for my fresh smelling house and car and bankruptcy

MrT flying high and free indeed Grin

NeepNeepNeep · 23/10/2016 14:43

Zoflorabore That is a very sizeable collection. I mean it's not a wicker basket but it is neat. I just don't understand why you have a big red sign for bread in the background. I just. Don't. Understand. Are you making a statement? Like, "Zoflora is the bread of life"? On a positive note, you have captured a perfect moment in time as the morning sun filters through the nectar of cleanliness. Please go and sit with MrT to learn about panache and pizzazz.

MrT I have just noticed your update. Gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. You have come so far. It makes it all worth while. Excuse me, I appear to have something in my eye

Zoflora mass hysteria 😂
I may have just tried throwing a bucket of Springtime in the yard after jet washing it 😄.
I'm tired, I'm wet but by God, it smells lovely out there.

Manumission · 23/10/2016 15:53

I've just tried Asda and wilko for Winter spice with no luck Sad

This is going to become a mission. I can feel it 🙂

MrTCakes · 23/10/2016 16:07

Considering going to another town tomorrow in search of the Apple scent. What have you lot done to me.

MrTCakes · 23/10/2016 16:12

Also want twilight garden.

AudreyBradshaw · 23/10/2016 16:17

I am washing my towels with a capful of zoflola as I type. It's the most exciting thing I've done all day. I'm looking forward to getting down to b&m tomorrow for a zoflora fix.

I think it's hyacinth marinating the towels, if anyone has any suggestions as to which one will best remove the old sweat stink from dh's gym clothes I will be forever in your debt.

SirChenjin · 23/10/2016 16:22

I've just washed my kitchen floor in winter spice and have a cotton wool ball soaked in the stuff on one of the living room radiators. The whole house smells gorgeous - between that and my new National Trust woollen blanket I feel very Scandi and as if I have got this hygge thing down to a T.

ClaudiaNaughton · 23/10/2016 16:23

MrT just 26 little hours since you posted your first "collection". We're totally blown away. Well done.Star Flowers

Manumission · 23/10/2016 16:33

Oh yes SirCh that's it! We're all just in search of hygge and so very on trend. not a bunch of weirdo disinfected obsessives AT ALL Smile

SirChenjin · 23/10/2016 16:36

Ex-actly Man Grin

I've also just wiped down my radiators with winter spice to add to the hygge - and in the process realised from the resulting colour of the cloth that I am a manky mare who doesn't clean enough Shock

Texfactor · 23/10/2016 16:37

Manumission I saw the winter spice one in pound world today if you're still looking!

SeussicaltheMusical · 23/10/2016 16:38

I went to Tesco earlier after reading this thread and got Linen and Cinnamon - they also had twilight garden and winter spice. Now, where to start....

Manumission · 23/10/2016 16:47

Oh thanks tex I'll be passing tomorrow, I'll have a look.

Gunna get some spray bottles too. Where is the best place for them?

JasperDamerel · 23/10/2016 16:59

I remember a thread like this last year which got me all excited and I bought some, and it was horrible, and just smelled of artificial nastiness. Should I try again, or are some people just not meant for Zoflora?

JasperDamerel · 23/10/2016 17:00

If it's relevant, I also strongly dislike the scent of bleach and most detergents. I use Method cleaning stuff because it smells nice.
