Zoflora!

Justwanttoweeinpeace · 08/09/2016 10:56

After repeatedly reading about how good Zoflora is, I've just invested in some.

Now I can't find a thread telling me what wonderful things I can do with it.

Obviously I've read the packaging, but can anyone give me any other tips?

TIA

I've got country garden. I have cleaed the bathroom with it. Very strange, it feels like I was cleaning with cheap perfume.

Is there one that smells "clean" or do they all smell like cheap perfume?!

SlinkyB · 28/09/2016 14:37

I'm using my first bottle everywhere atm! In a vain bid to get through it as quickly as possible, as it smells like cheap aftershave! (Fresh Linen, apparently).

Have mopped everywhere and have made up a squirty water bottle which I've used on upholstery, curtains, rugs etc

The scent does settle a bit, and is bearable, but definitely going to choose a different one next time.

I don't like the fresh linen one. I do like bouquet, twilight garden and citrus

PootlewasthebestFlump · 28/09/2016 15:48

Rose is a really convincing rose smell. I've got rose perfumes that smell similar...

OverScentedFanjo · 28/09/2016 16:11

If I can find Rose I'll try it. I really like rose fragrances. Don't bother with country garden, it smells v cheap market stall perfume.

PootlewasthebestFlump · 28/09/2016 16:21

It was in my corner shop and I bought it spur of the moment.

In the fabric softener bit (I put both in - softener plus zoflora)

PootlewasthebestFlump · 28/09/2016 21:48

I put a capful in the fabric part of the drawer and my sheets smell of lovely roses now...

I had a multi Zoflora shipment today. Some of them do smell slightly like a nursing home, but I've been wiping down radiators anyway. Smile

Topknob · 29/09/2016 16:00

My multipack is back at the sorting office.
I was in !!!!!!
I am sure the postman didn't knock Hmm

SoupDragon · 29/09/2016 16:02

The Lavender one smells absolutely nothing like lavender - it's horrid!

OTOH, it has stopped my washing machine smelling and removed the sweaty boy smells from the DSs rugby kit.

SloanePeterson · 29/09/2016 16:06

I think the Green Valley one is nicest. I've covered a cotton wool pad with it and shoved it in the Hoover bag, smells absolutely lovely. And I tried it in the washing machine today too, very tentatively. I bought a raincoat from eBay that arrived absolutely reeking and a good glug in the powder and softener sections has sorted it right out.

WholeL0ttaRosie · 29/09/2016 20:32

I use it after we've had fish or curry for dinner. A teeny drop in a ramekin of hot water, leave it on the kitchen windowsill, and any lingering food smells disappear.

LittleBee23 · 29/09/2016 21:56

I think I had the linen one and it was nice but I bought a Christmassy one last year and it was foul. I threw it out. I need to get some more though - I haven't used it in ages and I miss it lol.

riseshine · 02/10/2016 13:00

I sometimes put zoflora in an oil burner diluted in water - is this dangerous??

stiffstink · 07/10/2016 16:38

I just bought Fresh Linen, Lavender and Bouquet in Poundland. £1 (obviously) for 120ml bottles.

Needfinsnow · 03/11/2016 16:02

Oh my word I have just brought some of this magical stuff and now I can't stop cleaning!! My house smells amazing!! ! Will read through this thread for more ideas!!

Katietwinmum · 04/11/2016 22:01

New convert to Zoflora! I'm hooked - sent the OH to savers today - home with bouquet , rose and country garden. All lovely. Used rose in the steam mop and it worked a treat. Made a spray with country garden and have sprayed half the house...

Can see it becoming a bit of an obsession! Can't wait to try the winter stuff...

GaryGilmoresEyes · 05/11/2016 08:45

I am waiting for OH to leave for work so I can get stuck into cleaning. I wash the tiles around the fireplace with Winter Spice before lighting it. The smell as they warm up and dry is amazing.

GraceGildee · 08/11/2016 17:42

I bought some zoflora winter spice and put some on my vacuum cleaner filters. It smells amazing when we hoover now.

RubyFlint · 29/12/2016 19:06

I couldn't help but buy some after reading this thread. Can I use it on wooden floors?

Also I'm looking for advice on which ones smell the best. I tried the cinnamon one but it smells of chemicals. I like Twilight garden though. I'm tempted to try the citrus one.

And what is Home Bargains everyone talks about? I don't think there's one near me.
