Zoflora!

Justwanttoweeinpeace · 08/09/2016 10:56

After repeatedly reading about how good Zoflora is, I've just invested in some.

Now I can't find a thread telling me what wonderful things I can do with it.

Obviously I've read the packaging, but can anyone give me any other tips?

TIA

Clean linen smells like brut aftershave.

I did find 'rose' a month or so ago, it was lovely, really did smell of roses.

SadSock · 26/09/2016 10:31

I'm going to buy some today sounds bloody brilliant! So twilight garden is a good one? Bouquet? I don't want something really overpowering that will give me a headache

GaryGilmoresEyes · 26/09/2016 10:37

I love it and I'm so chuffed I found the huge bottles in Wilkinsons. I love Hyathinc. If you're not sure why not try some of the small bottles from the 99p/poundland places first to see which one you prefer.

GraceGrape · 26/09/2016 10:56

I bought the winter spice one last year. I liked it but it is quite a strong scent. DH thought I'd been cooking red cabbage....

Topknob · 26/09/2016 11:52

Multipacks on eBay.

Small bottles are 59p in home bargains and there are usually tons of varieties.
The supermarkets tend to sell the seasonal ones, I've got 12 bottles and counting ( sounds like a TV show ) there are not many I really hate but only a few that I absolutely love, it's quite a personal thing and some smells smell different to different people.
Those who are new to zoflora I would recommend trying the small bottles in a few varieties and see how you go. Happy cleaning!!!

But not at that price Hmm

Just about to use it in a spray bottle for the first time...am I meant to be using rubber gloves?

Gingernaut · 26/09/2016 16:04

My absolute favourite is no longer.

Flowershop.

The Christmas editions are out.

I'm hoarding Winter Moonlight from now.

I use it in the final rinse instead of fabric conditioner.

White vinegar and Zoflora.

Gingernaut · 26/09/2016 16:06

Fuck it.

Winter Morning.

FFS. Fucking autoclave autocorrect.

SlinkyB · 26/09/2016 16:07

But do you use rubber gloves? Grin I'm all set to go with a j-clotb and diluted Zoflora in a spray bottle but have no gloves Sad

Topknob · 26/09/2016 16:09

No to rubber gloves !

SlinkyB · 26/09/2016 16:15

Phew, thanks...was just a bit perturbed by the toxic symbols on the packaging and the fact it advises using protective gloves

Started using it anyway and hands seem ok. Only put a wee splash in a big squirty water bottle. Have Linen Fresh and agree with a PP that it smells like cheap 80's aftershave.

IDoAllMyOwnStunts · 26/09/2016 16:21

I put it in with my washing powder in the machine, wash a lot of sweaty gym stuff and it all smells ace despite having gone through all the rinse cycles. I've only just started doing this and was hoping it won't destroy the fabrics? Anyone else been washing clothes in it for longer and can vouch for unruined clothes?

OverScentedFanjo · 26/09/2016 16:21

How much zoflora-water to use in a spray bottle?

Can I use it in my vax carpet shampoo machine?

I think I have country garden.

IDoAllMyOwnStunts · 26/09/2016 16:29

In spray bottles I use one capful to 500ml. I would think it would be fine in a vax carpet shampoo thing (would put it in with the detergent) but not done that personally myself.

OverScentedFanjo · 26/09/2016 16:33

Thank you, have a dog staying and need to shampoo carpets.

rebeccahazel · 26/09/2016 19:31

What have I become??
Have been avidly reading this thread for days and finally bought some Twilight Garden. Realised that the only empty spray bottle I had was one I'd just chucked in the recycling, so I raked through the (full) blue bin to find it. I've been happily wandering around with spray bottle in hand for ten minutes. Not even ashamed of how contented I am!

SadSock · 26/09/2016 21:24

Used it for the first time this afternoon! Went on floors and surfaces. DP came in and said house smells clean. I said 'does it smell like a twilight garden?'. He said 'I don't know what that means but it smells clean'. Good enough for me.

SlinkyB · 26/09/2016 22:45

Grin Sadsock and Rebecca!

GaryGilmoresEyes · 27/09/2016 09:38

I wish there was a like button for your post rebeccahazel!

Tia4 · 27/09/2016 15:05

I used to use a similar product called Parador in the early days of my marriage (was fanatical about cleaning then Grin) but haven't seen it for years. Love Zoflora though!

willhazboz · 27/09/2016 21:03

I don't know which one I bought but I'm pretty sure MIL does actually use it as her perfume...I can't stand the smell :( nor can DH... God we are horrible people but it genuinely makes me feel ill.

SomeDaysIDontGiveAMonkeys · 28/09/2016 00:44

Why have I never heard of this?! FOMO...

PootlewasthebestFlump · 28/09/2016 10:57

So many zoflora threads! I bought the rose one today and mopped floors and now I'm getting lovely wafts of a really nice rose smell. Not like the stinky sweet ones my mum used to use in the 80s.

I'm ridiculously happy as it's also washing day so everything's coming up roses..
