Zoflora!

Justwanttoweeinpeace · 08/09/2016 10:56

After repeatedly reading about how good Zoflora is, I've just invested in some.

Now I can't find a thread telling me what wonderful things I can do with it.

Obviously I've read the packaging, but can anyone give me any other tips?

TIA

My local tesco had the winter morning one the other day

OdinsLoveChild · 10/09/2016 22:22

Wilkos stock the rose and sweet pea ones but I can't buy those scents anywhere else.
I do like the new green valley one.

Peanutbutterpussycat · 10/09/2016 22:37

dementedpixie- thank you :)
Will be taking a little trip to Tesco tomorrow!

I buy most of mine from home bargains 59p for small ones and 99p for large ones.
Wilko also sell, as do pound shops, Asda and Tesco.
My mum always used it and it brings back many memories as a child.
Ds (13) walks in from school and does the whole " mmm bisto " face when I've been a bit over zealous,
I normally use way too much but it's so nice it's hard not to.
I suggest anyone who hasn't tried country garden to have a try, it's in a green/lime box and smells divine.

Rockelburger · 10/09/2016 22:39

Can't wait to try these out!

JinkxMonsoon · 10/09/2016 22:44

I need to try Bouquet and Country Garden I think!

I'm totally loyal to Citrus and Springtime which are lovely. Don't like to try others in case they're horrible. Tried Hyacinth and it was rank - and I love real hyacinths.

Marmalade85 · 10/09/2016 22:47

I used zoflora midnight garden or something after hearing about it on here and thought it was awful! The smell gave me a headache and the bottle is tiny. I used it diluted to clean wooden floors and bathroom. What am I doing wrong?

soupmaker · 10/09/2016 22:50

To the PPs asking about how much in laundry, I add one capful to the softner bit of the drawer. Seems to do the job in stinky gym kits and bed linen which kids have weed on!

MotherFuckingChainsaw · 10/09/2016 22:50

According to the website it does NOT contain phenols. It is the perfume oils that make it go cloudy in water not phenols.

Though they do say to be careful round pets with it

www.zoflora.co.uk/pet-hub/pet-safety-faqs

I love lavender and clean linen fragrances.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeG0es · 10/09/2016 22:58

I love the idea of a tiny little bottle of disinfectant, so useful, just wish they did an unfragranced version as I find them completely overwhelming and I use it very sparingly.

dailyarsewipe · 10/09/2016 22:59

Thanks soup, going to do the dog bed in it tomorrow!

Marmalade85 · 10/09/2016 22:59

What is the difference between zoflora and bleach or mr muscle for example?

Peanutbutterpussycat · 10/09/2016 23:12

The smell is unparallel.
Bleach is nasty.
Mr muscle etc are ok but are not a patch on zoflora. It's amazing how a small bottle can go such a long way, it's a concentrated disinfectant and if you like your smells then it's worth trying out.
Totally versatile and cheap as chips too.
What's not to love?!
( I don't work for them btw ) Grin

gemmawinegum · 10/09/2016 23:28

Bleach only smells when its killing germs.

breakfastbap · 11/09/2016 09:12

Uncanny, I bought zoflora yesterday for the first time, cleaned the bathroom and mopped my porch floor with it and even this morning the lovely smell is still there. What fab stuff! I'm a convert, now off to top up the cheap fabric conditioner bottle I have with a small bottle of zoflora in the hope it'll make my clothing smell a bit nicer for longer.

Thanks for all the tips

rosesandcashmere · 11/09/2016 09:15

I bloody love this stuff! I put a half capful in my thane steam cleaner and it's fine. I also fill the sink with hot water and a capful after cooking anything smelly after I've done the washing up which gets rid of kitchen smells like garlic etc.... I buy from eBay in boxes of 12.... I'm excited to use the Christmas ones again!!!

takesnoprisoners · 11/09/2016 11:31

I have the warm cinnamon one. OMG. I mop and clean the bathrooms in it and the fragrance lingers for days! I can't find the bloody scent anywhere now. Sad

JinkxMonsoon · 11/09/2016 11:45

Bleach only smells when its killing germs.

If that was true it would be odourless in the bottle, surely?

Peanutbutterpussycat · 11/09/2016 11:46

I'm off to check out the zoflora website! Didn't even know it existed :)

Peanutbutterpussycat · 11/09/2016 11:48

Bleach smells of bleach regardless of what it's being used for surely.
My dgm used to say if you can smell it you're using too much Hmm

I've never really been a fan but some people I know will " bleach the kitchen, bleach the bathroom " never appealed to me.

MollyRedskirts · 11/09/2016 12:38

themoleisdead My dishwasher has a separate rinse cycle, so I slosh some in and run a rinse on empty. You could do it with any cycle run on empty. It really helps get rid of stale smells that build up.

Pinkerbeller · 11/09/2016 14:35

Thank you, 3cats for making that mistake so the rest of us don't have to GrinEnvy

ScarlettDarling · 11/09/2016 21:03

When reed diffusers are empty I fill them up with zoflora and they smell lovely. B and M bargains had the winter spice fragrance in today, bought one or two dozen

MrsGsnow18 · 11/09/2016 21:06

Oh my word!
Where has this information been all my life!! I LOVE zoflora but have only been mopping the floors with it all this time! Blush This is amazing!
I love the bouquet one and once had one that was called winter something or other, it was so lovely but have never found it since.

MrsGsnow18 · 11/09/2016 21:07

It wasn't winter spice though* ( as I imagine that's maybe Christmassy?)

MollyRedskirts · 11/09/2016 21:36

Winter Spice is the Christmassy one, yes. It's the only one I don't like.
