Zoflora!

Justwanttoweeinpeace · 08/09/2016 10:56

After repeatedly reading about how good Zoflora is, I've just invested in some.

Now I can't find a thread telling me what wonderful things I can do with it.

Obviously I've read the packaging, but can anyone give me any other tips?

TIA

Used it for years and love it!
I have "seasonal" favourites Blush
The only one I don't like is the Linen one which is odd as I normally love anything clean linen scented.

I have never used in the washing though - do I add it in place of Fabric Conditioner?

Eminybob · 20/09/2016 13:41

I have just bought some and am trailing it today. I have cleaned the whole house and DH is currently mopping with it.
I have also put some in the wash and am waiting excitedly for the load to finish.
The house smells lovely, considering I had made some curried veg soup for lunch which has a rather overpowering smell!

LMGTFY · 20/09/2016 14:24

I've just bought my first bottle and I'm so impressed with cleaning the bathroom and not being knocked sideways by cleaner fumes.
If you put it in a reed diffuser do you dilute it?

Peanutbutterpussycat · 21/09/2016 20:38

Look what I got!! Asda today, they only had two winter mornings left.
Had the cinnamon one and loads of others which I've already got.
Is a huge superstore one though.
I'm super excited to get cracking tomorrow, my fave ever!

I'm getting quite a collection :)

I bought some Zoflora after reading this thread and have to say i am totally underwhelmed. I can’t really smell it at all. Even when i managed to knock over the bottle and used what i spilled on the mop part of my steam cleaner to do the floors it didn’t really smell of anything. I have used diluted Zoflora in a spray bottle to clean my bathroom this morning and it doesn’t smell of much. Not really a convert.

dementedpixie · 23/09/2016 12:22

Which one did you buy? Some are nicer than others.

blueskyinmarch · 23/09/2016 12:43

I have Green Valley and Twilight Garden. Neither seems to smell of much at all.

dementedpixie · 23/09/2016 12:52

I have to admit I only really use it in the washing machine to get smells out-of clothes or have used it after a puking incident on the carpet. I like twilight garden on my washing best

Letmesleepalready · 23/09/2016 16:16

I bought the cinnamon one through online shopping and springtime in pound land. Can't say I like either of the smells! I think I need to find a tester to see which one I'd actually like!

JinkxMonsoon · 23/09/2016 16:30

The 120ml bottles don't have a seal so you can smell them in the shop. The smaller bottles do have a seal, so you can't unscrew them.

Peanutbutterpussycat · 23/09/2016 22:18

Honestly I keep saying it but pls try bouquet and country garden :)

Letmesleepalready · 24/09/2016 08:07

I didn't see either of those. Might ask DH to take me to home bargains. Can't believe I'm hunting down disinfectant Grin

Peanutbutterpussycat · 24/09/2016 11:28

Haha! I know :) but it's so nice.

Home bargains is where I get them two from.

I just tried the zoflora in with a wash with my e cloths and smells lovely.

Letmesleepalready · 24/09/2016 11:34

Poor DH is going to have to go to so many shops this weekend. I think he'll be so happy once I finally have my driving license!

Letmesleepalready · 24/09/2016 20:08

Well I now have 4 bottles of Zoflora, but no clean house. I didn't realise you actually had to use it for it to be effective! Grin I might do some midnight cleaning once everyone is asleep.

Peanutbutterpussycat · 24/09/2016 21:21

I've been back to asda for some more "winter morning " they only had one left!
I've been wiping worktops today, been out for hours and then came home and could smell it as soon as I walked in ( though my kitchen is in the front so that's possibly why )
I'm just slightly addicted Grin

Letmesleepalready · 24/09/2016 22:08

Haven't come across the winter morning one, but have mopped the floors with the country garden. It's a very strong smell (I guess I'm not used to smells apart from lemon ones when it comes to cleaning)

NeedATrim · 25/09/2016 14:13

How funny.
I had a bottle of zoflora under the sink, unopened and forgotten about. DH bought it in to use in the carpet washer but he hasn't got round to it. I never smelt it before nor even looked at it in the shops. That'll teach me.
Springtime smell and because of this thread I have wiped down doors, frames, radiators, skirting boards, bookshelves, mirrors, tables and units. I'm such a sheep! The room smells nice. Off to tackle other bits once baby is content I'm really eager to try other smells. Bleach is a keeper in my house but I'm a happy convert to zoflora for everything else. It's cheap as chips and has so much potential. Woooo!

Letmesleepalready · 25/09/2016 20:02

I've just made a solution and put it in an old dettol spray bottle. I think the small bottles might make 5 spray bottles, so much cheaper than dettol!! And I've just gently sprayed the carpet with it. I seriously need to get the carpet cleaner out but with a toddler around it's impossible for the carpet to get dry on time.
On a weird cleaning frenzy as I've also hand washed our sofa cover today (it doesn't fit in the machine).

TheoriginalLEM · 25/09/2016 20:10

are you all on glue?????

That stuff STINKS like the devil's farts.

my mother would cover everything with it so anything that went in her house came out stinking of zoflora and cigarette smoke

Peanutbutterpussycat · 26/09/2016 04:28

No we're all high as a kite on zoflora Grin

shovetheholly · 26/09/2016 09:53

I just did my bin with my first ever bottle of Zoflora. The tiniest amount on a cloth has made it smell lovely - normal disinfectant doesn't do this. Thank you so much for this thread, it's made my day!

JinkxMonsoon · 26/09/2016 09:54

I remember old school 1980s Zoflora, LEM. It wasn't very fragrant. Now there are dozens of fragrances and most of them are lovely. So much so, even a complete slattern like me enjoys cleaning. So there.

butterflymum · 26/09/2016 10:11

Have use Zoflora for many, many moons. Last winter, thought I would give their limited edition Winter Spice a try, expecting a lovely aroma. To my nose, it was absolutely horrid and one I will not buy again.
