Zoflora!

Justwanttoweeinpeace · 08/09/2016 10:56

After repeatedly reading about how good Zoflora is, I've just invested in some.

Now I can't find a thread telling me what wonderful things I can do with it.

Obviously I've read the packaging, but can anyone give me any other tips?

TIA

I love zoflora. Sometimes I buy mine from EBay as it can be cheaper but my local B and M does the bigger bottles for £3.99.

I also use it in the car, diluted in a spray bottle to wipe dashboard/surfaces etc. I also spray it on the doormats and curtains in the house to keep them smelling nice. I put some neat on crumpled kitchen paper and put it in the bottom of the recycling caddy. Apparently this also works for teenagers' trainers but I'm not going that near them Grin

I've just mopped with Pink Grapefruit, it smells lovely.

Well I'm amazed. DS's football boots and kit bag stunk to high heaven, so bad that we had to keep them all out the garage. This morning I took the bag, boots and shin pads outside, sprayed everything liberally with a 50 / 50 mix of zoflora and water and left it all to dry outside.

The bag smells fabulous and the boots, although a bit smelly still are nothing as bad as they were. Have sprayed them again now just for luck and they are drying off outside.

I was ready to chuck the kit bag as the smell was disgusting. It's saved it 😃

Bleach in the bottle doesn't smell. Sniff the bottle if you have to. But yet 5 mins after putting down the loo the bathroom will smell of chlorine because of the chemical reaction given off when the bleach breaks down the germ cells.

wonder if they'll work on my stinky birkenstocks

Of course it smells in the bottle 🙄

Bleach DOES smell in the bottle! And when I put some down the loo it smells of bleach, not chlorine.

JinkxMonsoon · 12/09/2016 17:55

I accept that chlorine is a component of liquid bleach, but they are distinct smells to me Smile

You've all inspired me and I bought some in the pound shop today. I'm going to work my way down the list of suggested uses on this thread tomorrow. It's ridiculous that this excites me!

Lady I am excited too. I've got some coming tomorrow with my online food delivery. I have lots of zoflora jobs planned. I can't wait, sleeping could be a problem later Smile

Ordered a new bottle in my online shop which is exciting, because it's basically a Zoflora lucky dip. I was thinking "please not lavender, please not lavender" and I got this limited edition. It's supposed to be a blend of mint, vanilla and spices and it's LOVELY.

But the weather's obviously too warm to use it, so I'll put it away until the mornings really are crisp!

What a sad housewife I've become Grin

Blimey! So weird to read how popular zoflora has become. My mom has used it for decades so obviously I do too. Trying to get my cleaner to use zoflora rather than a gallon of bleach every week is bloody painful though. I'm sure she just pours neat bleach everywhere in the bathroom and runs the taps or flushes the toilet rather than actually use stuff to clean with. I tried just not buying bleach but she said nothing is clean without bleach Hmm

Jink I love Winter Morning. Makes the house smell gorgeous when the days are short and it's dark outside.

Winter Morning is lovely! I use it when I wash my bedding and it smells lovely for so many days. Prefer Warm Cinnamon in my bathrooms.

I spotted some in pound land the other day, and almost got some... Now I just want to go into town to buy some, in the hope it'll motivate me to actually clean Grin

I have just realised how I have changed -- it is Friday evening and I am reading a thread about Zoflora and looking forward to trying all these different varieties. Although, all is not completely lost as I do have a glass of wine in my hand. Grin

I want Winter Morning!

I was wandering around Sainsbury's other other evening, and came across their stash.
I surreptitiously opened each bottle for a quick sniff, looking sideways at the shelf-stackers, and tried to stem the urge to "ooh nice" or "urgh, no, put it back".
The large Apple Orchard (I think) had a seal on the top which clicked as I opened it.
Had to buy that one, felt guilty!!

Surely if you put it in the fab cond drawer it won't get rinsed out and you'll have disinfectant next to your skin?

Citrus only for me! Love it so much would hate to be disappointed with another one. Fantastic in the motorhome when the pipes to the waste water started being a bit pongy
When away for week or so from the house I leave a little in water in the kitchen sink, it means that I don't come home to 'that' smell of an empty house ( what is that smell?)

I've bunged zoflora down sinks and drains for years but today was the first time I used it in the washing machine. Gorgeously scented towels and bedding! Love it!
