Woo hoo! It's the second Bullet Journal thread! For the benefit of newbies - Bullet Journal is a brilliant way to organise your whole life in a lovely notebook. Perfect for anyone who has tried every app and every scheduling system but just can't seem to get on top of things. Also perfect for lovers of beautiful stationery and especially for people who like lists!

Sooo - get out your fineliners and your washi tape! Stroke your Leuchtturms! And get all that stuff that's whizzing round in your head out onto paper instead!

Great post on another thread, so pleased for your progress and I'm so glad you feel less stress and more together. Yay and hip hip hurrah for you!

Iggi

Just seen your much earlier post - wouldn't it be amazing if there was a chocolate bar BuJo? Mmmmmm.....

Hello everyone! I am a bit late to the party it seems!

Last night I set out March (am away until the end of Feb) and it's looking much prettier already! I have my 3 months future log then a brain dump as a double-page spread, then my March must-dos (although I titled it 'goals' which I wish I'd put 'must dos' instead) and habit tracker double page spread, then week layout on a single page, then it'll be in to the daily lists.

I think I'm preferring sticking to black pen!!! I have surprised myself with that. I love the Staedtler fineliners I bought but really only using the red for work deadlines and other colours for doodles here and there.

My handwriting is coming along too thanks to my hand-lettering course!

Also I received my first thing in the post from The Letter Writers Alliance yesterday!!!! Not BuJo related but stationery related! And I found out about them via BuJo research.

Yay!

BendydickCuminsnatch · 24/02/2016 08:45

Ooh also yesterday and the day before I set up my google calendar, so that my phone will remind me of upcoming deadlines, but also have cross-referenced it into my BuJo future log as I find it SO hard to visualise with the google calendar! BuJo makes me much calmer as I can see way in advance exactly what is coming up. Feel in control! :)

My bj bujo isn't pretty at all. Perhaps when I start the new one in my lovely pink leuchtturm I will be inspired to make it look at least neat, if not actually pretty

Babieseverywhere · 24/02/2016 16:26

I now have 2 anniversary, 2 birthday cards and 2 mothers day cards in the house. Plus one birthday present and one mothers day gift.

That is everything I need for the month of March and I have stamps AND my weekly planners tell me when to post them !

He, he, he

Babieseverywhere · 24/02/2016 16:32

I need a hand writing course...how do you find them ?

BendydickCuminsnatch · 24/02/2016 16:49

Hmm I think I found mine via a YouTube video. It's for pretty hand lettering rather than everyday handwriting. Here's a link

Hippywannabe · 24/02/2016 17:50

I have now ordered this
www.amazon.co.uk/Womens-Handbag-Organiser-Cosmetic-Pockets/dp/B00B06WLKU/ref=sr_1_1?s=outdoors&ie=UTF8&qid=1456336174&sr=1-1&keywords=handbag+organizer+insert
so that I can keep my Bujo and pens safe in my bag. Is this an example of Bujo wankerism....?

ChristinaRosetti · 24/02/2016 17:51

Marking my place!

Havent been able to keep up with the whole of the first thread but I can't help but worry about someone who lost it at school before the half term! Did you find it? I really hope so!

RainbowDashed · 24/02/2016 18:41

I pimped my BuJo Grin

BensonBunny · 24/02/2016 19:28

Ooh a lovely new thread!

I don't use my Bujo for appointments as I have electronic calendars which work well for me. I suppose this makes it more of an elaborate reminder and list system, it's working well though. I have work and home in one notebook as I prefer to have everything in one place.

I'm trying to learn to accept the imperfections that come with me writing in anything, I like it to be neat but I'm never going to produce a work of art. This wasn't helped by two colleagues telling me to get a new notebook when I spilt coffee on my Leuchtturm!
