Cleaning thread anyone?

Used to do one of these each week but I have become a lazy lazy slob it would seem!

Anyone care to join me with lists and motivation?

I know what you mean Kim. we have 6 here in a not massive 4 bed plus 2 cats, guinea pig and a lizard. Although 3 of mine are at school at ds at nursery 3 school days in term time. My house is a tip most of the time

Ah sixpense, you sound like you have a lot on your plate. My DM died in August, still have many off days.Think thats why iI am back on here. Though I am feeling a bit of an intruder on here lately

Thanks,mam had dementia, so thought it would be a relief but unfortunately it wasnt!

I can't imagine how awful that must have been for you. Dementia is a horrible disease.

Morning everyone. So far:

• tidy beds done
• strip Ds' bed
• remake Ds' bed
• wash dishes and wipe over kitchen done
• laundry washer almost finished
• fold and put away clean clothes
• go to B&M
• try and remember what I needed from sainsburys and go there!
• deflea remaining 2 cats (I've done one tonight)
• clean downstairs bathroom
• mop floors downstairs done
• dust bedrooms
• Hoover bedrooms, stairs and landing
• order dd's formula done

Just waiting for the floors to dry then I'll carry on.

I've fed the dogs my next thing will be empty the tumble dryer and washing machine

I've done that made another coffee and fed cats and kittens going to get more washing in a minute

I've just stripped and remade Ds' bed, put the washing in the dryer and another load in the machine and I've folded and put away the clothes that were in the dryer. Going to clean the downstairs bathroom then go to B&M and Sainsburys.

I forgot to start the washing machine and just dropped a whole bottle of softener on the floor

Argh, what a nightmare Sixpence!

I'm back from the shops and we picked up a McDonalds for lunch on the way back (I blame dh) so i don't have to make lunch - yay!

So:

• laundry 2nd load in dryer, one more in washer

I also need to make a steak pie for tea so will add that to the list.

I'm not managing to keep up with either the housework or the thread this week!
I have just got in from work and shoved all the towels in the wash. Will do clothes tomorrow and bedding on Sunday.
Have also started to wipe the condensation off all the bedroom windows every morning in the hope I won't have to clean loads of mildew off. Seems to be working so far.
Weekend tasks:
Make Xmas cake
Dust and vacuum
Mop kitchen/hall
Clean bathroom
Clear out spare room before guests next week.

Tomorrow's list is:

• strip remaining 4 beds
• remake beds
• wash dishes and wipe over kitchen
• dust living room
• sweep floors downstairs
• laundry
• fold and put away clean clothes
• go into town to buy dd1 & dd2 some new winter boots
• pay some money into the bank

I'm sure there was something else I needed to do but I can't remember what it was.

Dcs have 4 clubs plus tutoring
I think teendance has a party she'll need pucking up from tomorrow, her friend is sleeping over tonight.

Get dd1 and 2 to tidy bedrooms, clean pets and dd1 to do bed.

Feed, clean and medicate cats

Sort school uniforms

School admin

Good luck with going dummy free ShutUp, we did the same with our youngest a month or so ago. She'd forgotten about it within 2 days so fingers crossed your Ds does similar.

Today i have:

• washed breakfast dishes
• dettol'd kitchen tops
• made the beds
• dusted and polished the lounge
• hoovered everywhere
• made tea
• dettol'd kitchen tops (again)
• washed tea dishes
• emptied kitchen bin
• general tidy up

Going swimming tomorrow and need to pop to town so not sure how much will be done here.
