Was that ok Beccarolloveragain ? lol

sorkycake · 19/09/2006 22:01

I'm not sure FL is for me.

I'm not paying any attention to anything she suggests, just merrily going about what I would normally do, re: housework and deleting all the emails.

RR is right I'm slumming it on the thread and only here for the crack, I feel slightly ashamed to admit.

Well done to those of you who're making a go of it, keep up the effort, it'll be worth it soon!

hazelnuts · 19/09/2006 22:06

SusiS Have you done your dishwasher yet?

If not why not? lol

I will have to work extra hard tomorrow to catch up on the work I lost today. I want to hoover now but I know DD will wake up and next door will moan.

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 19/09/2006 22:12

tinshoes Well done. You will look at it in the morning and be relieved you did it!
I will do the front room soon!!!!!

sorkycake Ive been like that but follow the zone most of the time and missions.

shazronnie · 19/09/2006 22:15

sorkycake you are welcome to slum it with us! We're still worthy people even though we don't keep our jigsaws in special bags

I did something radical today.....

...I threw away all of the odd socks!

SusiS · 19/09/2006 22:15

yessssssss done!! (had a long advert brake )

who needs another kick now?????

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 19/09/2006 22:15

Beccarolloveragain HAVE YOU GOT OFF YOUR BED YET?? IF NOT MOVE IT NOW!

SusiS · 19/09/2006 22:16

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 19/09/2006 22:17

Shaz im I want to but am sure the other one wil turn up one day!!

shazronnie · 19/09/2006 22:18

tortoise I think I have been waiting years for some of those socks!

sorkycake · 19/09/2006 22:19

Oh no SR you do realise you'll find the others the day the binmen have taken your rubbish!!

lol at jigsaws, I think since I stopped work and could no longer afford all the shoes I got a new hobby. Obsessively organising my house to within an inch.

If you have a storage issue, I may well have a solution. That and possibly too much time on my hands.

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 19/09/2006 22:22

Ive moved house with the odd ones in a seperate box and still not found the other halves but held onto them incase!

I have many storage problems!!

hazelnuts · 19/09/2006 22:22

tortoise its the black hole in the washing machine. lol

shazronnie · 19/09/2006 22:33

tortoise let the socks go.......

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 19/09/2006 22:35

Nooooooooo!! lol. Maybe soon!!

shazronnie · 19/09/2006 22:38

Anthea uses odd socks on her hands to dust banisters.

Skribble · 19/09/2006 23:50

If anthea had kids she would realise you get the kids to do that.

Great game called Mucky Sock Sock! Each child gets 1 sock (daddy's white sport socks are great for this) the challenge is to get the sock as mucky as possible in 15min. Children run about the house with the sock on their hand trying to find mucky dusty bits, Mummy chases after children shout quick quick theres lots of dust down the back of the radiator, oh look under the table etc etc.

Also found Ready Steady Cook game worked really well too, I challanged the kids to clear the table before I made dinner. (The table was hidden under a pile of junk). Lots of mock shouts of panic "Oh no I don't even have the pasta on yet arghh!" "Oh no you are going too fast" etc. They had it cleared, cleaned, placemats out and even candles. ah bless!

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 19/09/2006 23:52

Mucky sock sock sounds great!

What are you doing up soo late? FLY lady won't be impressed!

Skribble · 19/09/2006 23:57

Just in from work.

Found DH relaxing on sofa, while washing still on line, dishwasher not emptied, towels folded wrongly and not put away, his pile of washing still not put away.

Done it all now (apart from not putting DH's clothes away). So sitting here with a big whisky.

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 20/09/2006 00:01

Naughty dh!!
Enjoy your drink.
