A new thread for a new week...

OP posts:
tinshoes · 21/09/2006 12:41

Hi everyone

Skytv - i get a bit lost but this thread is pretty good at reminding you you're not alone. Just dip in and out when you can.

I've done no flying today. Cant get going. DD still off colour and, was up 3x in night & I'm knackered.

Making a casserole to put in freezer at the moment as just realised i had meat & a pie due up today and hate throwing food away.

other than that, i plan to watch neighbours and then put dd in front of tv when she wakes up so we can both have a rest.

hazelnuts · 21/09/2006 12:48

tinshoes I am having my rest now DD is asleep DS2 is playing outside. School run and I think I might do tea at the park again today as its so good out to day. I should do a cooked meal for tea. I thought I would get some chips and take some soup and B+B. They all love that.

Sorry if I rant on about the SS sometimes, they just get to me

hazelnuts · 21/09/2006 12:51

Flame Its just sooooooooooo grrrrrrrrrrrr. Its like they want him to do these things and hes gets away with it.

shazronnie · 21/09/2006 13:27

hazelnuts - it's ok to rant

i did 5 more minutes on my rowing machine, and i walked to take Ds to pre school (30 min each way up and down hills!!) I think I will do 6 minutes next week - i don't want burnout LOL

SusiS · 21/09/2006 14:06

no burnout please - might keep you from flying

just rant away hn it's part of 'decluttering' - isn't it

just came back from picking ds up; enough walking for me (had to come via park )

both kids are in bed and it's 'me' time now!

ehm, what will i do now?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Bucketsofdinosaurs · 21/09/2006 14:13

Am knackered, how often are we supposed to do this?
Skytv, try buying some toffees or sweeties you can chew/suck for ages. Helps to keep your sugar levels up so you don't get that graunching hunger nausea. Also, drink lots of 7up or sprite as they have real sugar, not sweetner.

FlameSparrow · 21/09/2006 14:17

Is that the right link?

SusiS · 21/09/2006 14:18

wow i am impressed! well done bucket - even the child's changed

FlameSparrow · 21/09/2006 14:18

Yup, careful with the Windowlene or your child might grow extra bits
I even rolled back the big rug in places and hoovered under that (so not me!)

llynnnn · 21/09/2006 14:24

Hi

I have just shined my sink and am very proud!! Do you ladies mind if I join you? I have a 7week old DD and my house looks like a giant bomb has gone off in the middle of it! Now she is more settled and sleeping a lot through the day I think its time to get off my backside and make an effort!
Should I just follow the babysteps for the first month or should I do more? I know what I'm like, very enthusiastic one day then cant be bothered the next if I do too much!!

Lynn

hazelnuts · 21/09/2006 14:26

shazronnie SusiS lol, thanks , though I will try not too

Bucket well done. I wish I could post some pics too (broken camera)

It will soon be time to do the school run. The weather seems to be on the change and I dont know if we will get to have tea in the park now. DS2 has already got his bag out to put the tea in for the park.

JessaJam · 21/09/2006 14:29

llynn do babysteps at first, don't try to do the full on FLY thing straight away...I know it's hard to resist, especially on the days when all babysteps telsl you to do is read somne daft testimonial! Maybe incorporate Kelly's Missions into babysteps? That's what i do.
Oh, and welcome!

hazelnuts · 21/09/2006 14:32

Hi llynnnn. I am new(ish) here too. Last to weeks. I have been told to do what I can and I will soon catch up. FLYlady is just to give us all a kick up the bum to get on with things. Hope you enjoy this as I am :

FlameSparrow · 21/09/2006 14:47

I'm meant to be stripping beds today, but it looks like it is going to p*ss down, and I have washing up to the ceiling... still strip, or live in squalor???

(Bearing in mind beds used to be stripped as and when, and now its weekly...)

Welcome Lynn

tortoise · 21/09/2006 14:52

tortoise · 21/09/2006 14:54

Welcome llynnnn.

Forgot to say buckets thats a fab room.

Wish i could get to local Asda. Too far out of town for a non-driver.

tinshoes · 21/09/2006 14:55

Hi all, suitably rested although DD decided she would only sleep on my lap this afternoon so I am now stiff all over.

Bucket - your room looks great.
Skytv - try 7up as sprite have change the recipe and now have sweeteners. That and ginger biscuits helped me.
welcome to new person (sorry forgot name). i started with babysteps and kelly's missions.

Quootiepie · 21/09/2006 15:01

I cant see Buckets room [nosy]

tortoise · 21/09/2006 15:02
