I love seeing everyone's photos!
Lots of flying today - i eventually finished the blessing, and the bathroom is clean - I only have floor left to do.

RR - I imagine you to be like the Waltons!!
And I wish i was curly

BarefootJasnem · 11/09/2006 20:44

hazel - I'd let her sleep, and have a snack ready in case she wakes later.
I hope the xp problems get sorted for you, it must be very stressful coping with stuff like that every day.

Paranoid (or can I call you Marvin?)- will you get a definite diagnosis, or do you have to ewait and see?

I have an empty washing basket

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 11/09/2006 20:48

Oooh I feel a FLY meet up Hazelnuts! Castle cary is lovely but i need to move away because of xp2.He's not allowed contact with my DS's so i dread the chance that we could both be in town at the same time.
So moving seems the best option.Should be able to do a housing association transfer.

Aww Amanda i hope you on the good 50% side.I don't know much about ms though.

I just looked in diary,i have hv oming tomorrow.ARRRGGGHHH Front room is a bomb site again!!Least its mainly toys not clutter.

singersgirl · 11/09/2006 20:53

You know this home blessing (which I haven't done)? Can any of you change all your sheets in 10 minutes?

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 11/09/2006 20:58

No i can't change all sheets that quick! FLY lady says children should be responsible for theirs! I'd love to see any of mine put a duvet cover on!!

Quootiepie · 11/09/2006 21:03

helloooooooooo, really back this time...

hazelnuts · 11/09/2006 21:10

BarefootJasnem.. She woke up and has now gone back to sleep on me. Typing is fun with one finger NOT lol.

Tortoise..I have never done a meet or anything like that before. I get worried just meeting a new GP. Hate phones. I always say the wrong things on the phone. Shame you have to move. Thats the sort of thing xp1 want xp2 to do. So xp2 did He tried so hard but DS1 would not take him. Ds2 though. Jumped all over him. lol Feels weird calling him xp but thats what he is Just going to put DD down and b put the washing away Do something good today then. Hate put cloths away, dunno what to leave on top of the pile. I`m always choosing something different to put on the DC. Thats normally at the bottom. lol Thanks for being here. Its good in here

BarefootJasnem · 11/09/2006 21:10

My dd can change one pillow case in 10 mins.
I do them all over the weekend, and it takes me more than 10 mins just to remake my bed. Bunk beds are no fun to do at all!

coderoo · 11/09/2006 21:11

oi look at this

hazelnuts · 11/09/2006 21:13

I cant post pictures BTW. Ds1 took it to his dads (I did not know as it was in his bag) and it got broke. I`m sure xp1 done it to get at me

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 11/09/2006 21:25

hazelnuts Im like that!I get really nervous when i have to meet new people but having court etc has meant ive had to do things and now i want to make some friends.I only have 1 good friend in Castle cary.
Its funny things with your xp2 sound in some ways like mine! DS2 loved him but DS1 had problems with him but xp2 just got angry and violent instead of helping him to get to know each other. He tried to blame alot on xp1 but he wasn't all to blame.

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 11/09/2006 21:43

Sorry Q didn't see your message there.
How are you?

IvortheEngine · 11/09/2006 21:45

Sorry that I'm being so rude as to just butt in anywhere, but I thought I'd post that this series of threads is an inspiration and I'm doing housework that I wouldn't normally do! When I can, I'll join the thread properly. For now, though, it's enough for me that I'm getting stuff done!

Tortoise....Sorry to read that about your xp2.Xp2 for me was good in most ways. He could not cope with Ds1. Ds1 would just stop what he was doing when xp2 got home from work. I think it all got to him as he was not well either. (health)Just wish I knew were he was now. Ds2 asks about him and I just dont know what to say. SS are not much help. I had meetings with them. They said that xp1 cant do things like I know he is doing. "Dads dont do that" is what I keep getting told. I have to be nice to xp1 and I hate it. Enough of him, or this will trun into a rant and put everyone off of me!
DD is in my bed now sleeping. She had a bit of milk. she is drinking but I think I will go to the GPs tomorrow. I did not get the cloths away
Oh well theres tomorrow

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 11/09/2006 22:13

Omg its like you are me! Except minus the abuse!!
I have ss involved which is why ds's are at their dads.

mummy2ashton · 11/09/2006 22:28

hi Quootie, where you been?

amanda sorry to hear what the doc said to you, will you find out for definate? fingers crossed you will land on the right 50%.

i've swept and mopped kitchen floors tonight, also done the dinner dishes so everything in kitchen all clean and tidy. and have just sprayed a daddy long legs with fly killer so had a productive evening!

hazelnuts · 11/09/2006 22:30

Its weird. Talking to someone that has the same sort of life. I dunno with your xp2 but he did get mad sometimes. Did not blame him at times as it was hard work. I felt like going mad too. Hope you get your BSS back. We will have to have a chat sometime?
I am going to bed, I will get bits ready for the am though before I do. I have found that to be good. Saves me so much time trying to work out what to wear.

Night night to all the FLYers that I have not had much time with yet. (does that sound right?)lol I have put a joke in somewhere. (Sharon's Jigsaw ) It made me smile

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 11/09/2006 22:33

Would be good to chat sometime. It does feel weird knowing someone thats had a simalar problem!
Night night,sleep well.

I should go soon.DD1 has pe-school tomorrow.Have to leave at 9 to get there in time(its a long walk!)

hazelnuts · 11/09/2006 22:46

I will try to load MSN thingy tomorrow.

I`m up early to be out of the house by 8:15 week days. About a 30 minute walk to school. If I leave with just 30 minutes then I get held up. The school moans then

Night night and sleep well tortoise

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 11/09/2006 22:55

I thought i had along walk! Nearly a mile to Ds's school.i have them after school tomorrow and overnight so I get the wednesday school run!
See you back here tomorrow.

Quootiepie · 11/09/2006 23:05

what was todays mission? Ive deleted all my inbox cant sleep so gonna catch up on some cleaning that ive missed for nearly a month!

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 11/09/2006 23:12

I think it was to clear bathroom of unwanted cosmetics etc again.
Why can't you sleep?
I was suppose to got o bed a while ago but was texting my mum in Turkey!
Comp on a go slow too.

Quootiepie · 11/09/2006 23:45

Hiya... just cleaned the kitchen worktops really good, done the little bit of washing up so dont have it in the morning, and really shined my sink. Ill go get rid of all the empty shampoo and shaving foam etc. bottles biulding up in the bathroom next! not sure why I cant sleep... I woke up at 7.30 today which is early now because MIL was looking after DS while I caught up on sleep the last few weeks in the morning, or DH was as he was off work, but I fell asleep on the sofa so she told me to go back to bed at 8.30, where I stayed with DS 'til 11.30 being back home again is abit odd aswell, takes me awhile to settle.

mummyhill · 12/09/2006 00:52

Right I have gotten in from work and read the thread. My goodness you have all been busy, makes me feel quite guilty as I have done nothing today DS has been having issues with gums and teeth again.

Am feeling a bit p'd off as I have walked into a living room where the toys are still all over the floor as are the clothes the children were wearing before I went out to work this evening.

Sorry shazronnie I wasn't at webbs at the weekend but do like it there. Went to Fosters near Lichfield instead. I a popping over to Melbicks (on way to kenilworth) at the end of the month to meet one of the girls off my ante/post natal threads.

Tomorrows (or should that read todays?) plan of action is to fly in the morning. Take DD to school and pop in on a friend for a cuppa, collect dd from school and take her dancing. After dancing we need to pop round to see another friend as she is having a small leaving party for her foster daughter who is going to live with adoptive parents. Then fetch DH from work, feed and bath chilren whilst he goes out to karate then feed us when he arrives home. Will the collapse into bed. Hopefully with an empty washing basket and a shiny sink!!!!
