Still at work but wanted to post to keep this on my "threads i'm on".

My Mum dusted the whole house yesterday after school and said that if I did a load of washing last night she would iron it tonight! Its done and in the dryer.

I'm not sure how anyone works full time and runs a house/family. I'm knackered and only 4 days into a full week. (I suppose I am 7 weeks pregnant though!)

I've done nothing today
I wwent to buy a mouse, and all the shops I thought would have them turned out to be mobile phone places, so it'll hae to be the expensive Tescos one I refused to buy last week.

I've decided bathroom week is rubbish. I'd done it by Tuesday, and have lost the motivation to do my "other room". Baby is restless, too.

I'm going to go and cook, and try and fly with the kids when they get back from school later.

Emails are starting to bug me too, I seem to be deleting them all the time as even the uk ones are late, wondered about stopping them as is this thread keeping my going really.

Flame you are doing really well, maybe the emails coming is good even if we don't read them? Mine are going to a new yahoo email so they are not clogging my inbox but I didn't fly yesterday and there were 43 this morning, mind you it's worse after a weekend as I don't get on atall for 2 whole days
Went to get towels from bathroom to wash and it made me smile all clean and shiny. Have been inspired to start kitchen.

happy birthday mummy2ashton!!! and belated happy birthday to barefootjasnem!!!

i never signed up for the e-mails. i just check a few pages on the website that i've got bookmarked (zone of the week, kelly's missions and flight plan detail).

today is my errands day. so i went to the post office, library, chemist and newsagent. i took out cash and will pay a bill later online.

DS has a cold. he's only three months, so he's really struggling. he can't seem to figure out how to breathe through his mouth now his nose is stuffed, so he keeps choking the house stinks of karvol, but at least it helps him.

on the plus side, the bathroom and living room are still really tidy. i did the hallway and stairs yesterday. the kitchen is fine, just dishes need doing. i have a lovely dishwasher waiting to be used, but need to wait until FIL can plumb the washing machine into our utility room. which reminds me... i need to have a good declutter and clean in there before he does or there will not be room for the washer!

Have finally taken the plunge and joined up although being a total technophobe was terrified at the whole yahoo joining process . My sink is full of bleach and water as I type I am a bit worried about the comments about too many emails and this is one reason its taken me long to join. DH is in IT and I know he will go mad when he sees me getting lots of junk mail - I'll have to pretend I dont know how it started!

Also joined a gym this morning AND paid a year in advance so I cant back out and cancel. I am feeling very in control - hope it lasts

Just feeling crppy today. Round the edges of a migraine (swimmy eyes), DS still poorly, DD hyper and refusing to do anything she is told, and I'm not following through with punishments because I can't tell if she's being a little sht or if it is just me feeling rough and not coping with a normal 3yr old.

I need to sleep before the migraine kicks in proper or it lasts a week, and I have no-one to have kids so I can't.

But all that is nothing compared to quootie!!

Flame. Can you wrap up ds, and go to the park, and let dd have a run around, then maybe you can all have a rest this afternoon.

Nothing done yet today!Took dd1 to playschool then went to town.Got soaked cos it pissed down!
By the time id walked home from town it was nearly time to pick dd1 up again!

flame, poor you! hope you feel better soon. migraines are so awful, they just knock you out. i had the worst one i'd ever had on saturday and i was to attend a children's party later that day. the only thing that helped was a 30 minute nap on the sofa.

I bookmark the pages on the net too as it is easier to find them than wade through the rubbish testimonials.

Swimming with DD this morning and I've sorted the washing and dishwasher and just had my daily fix of Neighbours. Sad, I know but a nice time to sit with a cuppa.

Just saw email about a 27 fling boogie outside of the house. Not likely in this rain.

Lets not get disheartened. we're all doing great with our shiny sinks etc. I agree that bathroom week is rubbish as it doesnt take a whole week to clean a bathroom and they seem to have forgotten about the other room but be positive and enjoy the rest as next week is master bedroom and if anything like mine it could be hard work

OMG. I just checked the detailed flight plan and realised I have done ALL of them in my bathroom without even following the list!!!

Wish mine was... mine is the same as it was in the photos... and my kitchen is going downhill. Head still spinngin. DS is muttering in his cot but I can't hold him right now, DD eating cheerios.

Which is your "other room" tort? How about 15 mins in there and wipe the surfaces?

My sink must be in severe shock from cleaning as it is now blocked and wont drain - makes drying it out really difficult. Is it actually possible to make white plastic sinks shine or does she just mean enamel and steel sinks?
