I really feel in failing today. There is stuff everywhere but i just don't feel motivated to clear it.Kitchen is not too bad.
Spent 10 mins this morning searching through clean piles of washing for clean knickers for dd1! Why is it so hard for me to put it away?

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 14/09/2006 14:49

Not got round to choosing another room!!

singersgirl · 14/09/2006 14:54

15 minutes in DS1's room only scratches the surface!

Flamesparrow · 14/09/2006 14:59

But keep doing 15 mins here and there, and it gets clear gradually.

(Just wanting Jas to feel like she has company!)

tamsino · 14/09/2006 15:09

lol. I think we all got the message

shazronnie · 14/09/2006 15:20

You lot have all chatted far too much today! it has taken me AGES to get here!

I had a shower and got dressed at 7am today as DS1 goes to preschool on Thurs am so I did my morning routine properly before it was time to go, so i am pleased with myself!

Cleaned my downstairs loo, and did some ironing this pm.

happy Birthday M2A!!

LOL at the more washing = less clothes! This is the perfect excuse to have a clear out of all that extra stuff.

and a clear out is the perfect excuse for a shopping expedition!

Skribble · 14/09/2006 15:45

Somebody mentioned Thursday was errands day,
so took MIL for her shopping (oops just remembered mine is still in the car ,
paid in some cheques,
dropped off plastics at tesco for recycling,
handed in some charity shop stuff,
posted EBay stuff.

Better go and get shopping in, but I have put second load in dryer and put away towels from the first load. Must fit in some ironing .

So they are high heeled AND comfy and you have three occasions already to wear them - definitely keep them.

Every woman deserves one really good pair of shoes.

Mine are my leather knee high boots. The zip has started to die on them, but they cost me a small fortune about 9 years ago, and I love them to bits.

Just got my digest of e.mails in for the day, much easier to weed out all the testimonials. Anyone know if you can get them to arrive first thing UK time. I have looked on the yahoo groups page but it is set to a US time and can't see a way to ghange it. It would make more sense if I got them all first thing to see what I had to do for the day.

shazronnie · 14/09/2006 17:24

skribble there is a uk site somewhere in yahoo groups; I'm sure someone will have the link then you can get daily digest from them.

RR - you should always buy lovely shoes! YOU DON'T NEED AN EXCUSE.

shazronnie · 14/09/2006 17:26

here's the uk site

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 14/09/2006 17:27

ok FLYers any advice here please?

shazronnie · 14/09/2006 17:30

sorry tortoise i am a useless woman who refuses to do anything tool related.

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 14/09/2006 17:33

Thanks for nothing!!!lol!

ParanoidAndroid · 14/09/2006 17:46

Ruby - we NEED photos of the shoes please. Nothing else will do!

I have my eye on a pair of red patent high heels (sound v naff but I saw them in the Observer magazine at the weekend and they are fab) - only 65 squid. BUT I have absolutely nowhere to wear them - since stopping work, I just don't need smart shoes, I don't go to many parties or do's where I tart myself up, no social life y'see... Well actually I do have a social life, but it revolves around horses, walking dogs and surfing. (Not much call for high heels in any of those activities)

So Ruby if you would be kind enough to post a picture of your shoes, we can all share in the thrill of them and that helps spread the cost for you doesn't it

(Just want to reassure everyone that I am not some sort of shoe fetishist by wanting to see a photo - I'm really quite normal, just very very VERY jealous!)

I really don't 'get' high heel shoes! My feet were not designed for them!
