Have also attacked the DVDs - added a few more to my saved Music Magpie order.
Pile of cheap/free ones in cardboard sleeves - will a charity shop want them?

Oh a mixture - I'll give them in and they can decide.
Or.. I'm wondering about keeping everything and doing a car boot at the end? Never done one so a bit intimidated but it could be worth a try - anything left can go to charity anyway.

Did videos (only have them for DC) today; got rid of 6.

Dh has the bug now too and keeps asking to chuck something, sweet but also irritating!

CDs are mostly in the loft so I think they'll have to wait. I want to magpie most of them but will have to see what dh thinks.

Music Magpie - you send off CDs/DVDs/games and they give you money. Haven't sent off an order yet but have a saved one for £15 & think they pay into PayPal. Sounds brilliant but time will tell I guess though I have lots of friends who've done it before.

Some things are only 20p or so but then it still gets them out of the house and if you send lots & find a few worth a bit more then it's worth it. I've searched on MN too for people who've done it.
Kids DVDs seem to be worth more than adults.

Can you (easily) get from a physical cd to music on iPod/phone? I have no clue how.

all my decluttering efforts have been halted as we put in an offer for a house on Saturday.

We'll have an answer this afternoon. I'm really trying to not worry, but I can't concentrate on anything else.
It's going to be a long day.

Haven't done much, but managed to declutter my dc wardrobe and stick some uniform on a freesite, suppose it's a start. Going to de-clutter my junk cupboard in the next few days when i have borrowed my dm shredder for all my unwanted post.
Then when kids are back to school, time to declutter toys to clear space for the christmas toys as i will be heavily pregnant or with new baby by the time christmas comes so got to get the house tidy!
