Welcome one and all, especially if you love writing a great list, then sitting back and MNing crossing everything off.

And extra welcomes to those of us who write something we've already done on the list just for the satisfaction of getting to cross it off Grin

I plan to do one load of washing every day, as well as keep kitchen sides clear and toys put away as much as possible, but the hoovering and cleaning just wasn't getting done, so need to have one day set aside. Sadly today wasn't it :o

JKSLtd · 25/09/2013 19:52

Maybe tomorrow lol!

I actually let myself have days off laundry if i feel like it, but not Mon as I have to get stuff ready for the cleaner coming on Tues when she remakes the beds for me.

I didn't do as much as I had hoped today, but one thing I am determined to change is to not beat myself up if I don't get things done, and concentrate on the things I did do! Ok, enough of the hippy talk, here is what I have done today :o

Dishy
Laundry
Supplied food for people at the correct times
Cleaned bath, sink and loo
Made a cake
Done the horses
Three lots of school run on time

That will do! :o

JKSLtd · 27/09/2013 19:55

It is a valid point Mrs - if you sit down at the end of a day and list all the things you have done instead of dwelling on what you haven't, you will probably surprise yourself. Doesn't stop me dwelling though!

Good morning/afternoon. I haven't been about for a bit as I have been trying to spend less time on my iPad and more time actually doing stuff.

Not sure how successful I have been Smile.

Reading back I have to agree with MrsNR about listing the things done rather than to do. Less disheartening.

This morning kitchen is not too bad, but table is a disaster. Living room is fine. Ironing pile is gigantic and bedrooms aren't great.

See you later feel the need to say 'alligator', too much time with children

Jks I have wine Smile rewarding my efforts and as I get a lie in til 730 tomorrow (morning off work to do my learning diaries so can take dc to school at school time not breakfast club time) it's a large glass.

SlatternismyMiddlename · 01/10/2013 17:58

Tis in the bleak mid winter here, yuck. Rain, rain and more rain.

I am in dire need of cheering up. Someone uttered the fateful words to me today "are you pregnant". No, I'm not but thanks for pointing out that I have put on weight Sad.

I am going out to my usual exercise class tonight but will take my bad mood out on the house tomorrow.

TO DO

School run
Pick up PTA stuff
Get some insurance quotes
Do some filing from pile of doom
Make dinner
Put away ironing that DH better do this evening
Tidy DD's book case
Dust my bedroom
Review wardrobe in light of 'pregnant gate'

MrsNouveauRichards · 02/10/2013 08:06

Slattern, there is winter to worry about weight, get yourself some big jumpers and embrace autumn :o

Rain here today, possibly all day by the looks of it.

TO DO
Usual school morning chaos
Take DD to school
Horses
Lunch
Town - puck up last bits for anniversary, birthday present for DD's friend, pick up forms for hall hire
PTA this evening - joy

I had plans with the horses today, but DS was coughing so much he was sick last night (all over the hall carpet) so he is having a day off and it is pissing it down, so we will not spend too much time with them today!

MrsNouveauRichards · 02/10/2013 14:41

I have just attacked the conservatory. Took me just over 20mins, and although far from perfect it looks 100x better.

Why do I put stuff off and stress about the house being a mess if it only takes minutes Hmm I am clearly an idiot, it is the only explanation! :o

JKSLtd · 02/10/2013 17:31

Then I'm an idiot too Grin

Busy day with work & orch but have started sorting some more baby clothes to go. & some baby toys.

Put in prescription for more pills too.

Trying to think of small job pre-bath that would make me feel productive...hmm

OP posts:
FreakoidOrganisoid · 03/10/2013 17:48

Ah no slattern, am sure you're not that bad!

I'm the same.get really worked up and start swearing and banging stuff and then it only takes for me to put some washing away or hoover or something and it looks loads better Blush

Not loads done today, just some washing and got the dc stuff packed for the weekend.

MrsNouveauRichards · 04/10/2013 16:24

I found this www.unfuckyourhabitat.com/category/challenges/mini-challenges/ very helpful this week

JKSLtd · 04/10/2013 20:39

Ooh I quite like those mini-challenges :)

I have got better at doing mini somethings when I find I have 10mins free with no specific job to do - rare but sometimes happens.

I went through all of our filing drawers the other day and made a big pile for DH to approve for binning. Luckily he approved it all Grin

Back to Sat tomorrow:
Football
Gymnastics
Swimming (if I cba) with DD
