Not a good day housework wise, but I got lunch out with the OH, so I'm not complaining. Here goes

Still need to cook pasta for tomorrow's packed lunch, hang washing and feed dogs. service nods called while I was vacuuming, I didn't hear them so they are returning tomorrow- hopefully on time, they had a flat tire today.

Oh goody, the dishwasher has just finished- I'm not emptying it tonight

So why do I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle?

It is boiling here again today so I have been cracking on with the housework before the temperature builds up again.

Breakfast for DD and me
2 loads of washing
Fed dogs
Went out, lunch, ice-skating for DD and OH- I sat on the side lines MNing
Re-hand washed the stuff that got rained on, we've lost 2 trees and a patio umbrella in the storm. Seems to have passed over now, rained near on 20 hours, and tomorrow's forecast is hazy sun.

Currently doing dinner, then packed lunches, bake some cookies.

Tomorrow I plan to have a quick whizz round and then go out shopping.

What a difference a day yesterday spent sorting, cleaning and decluttering makes. Having woken up to a spotless dining room and kitchen makes my day seem brighter and so,

We spent most of yesterday afternoon decluttering and tidying the garage. It is much, much better.

Today's ta das so far:

ironed t shirt to wear as only have a few so on fast rotation
breakfasted dcs - not much around for that
ds's lunch and snacks made
dcs to school - had to go back up with dd's homework

Anything "out" is on hold until the doctor rings back. I'm not sure yet if I'm going to my appointment tomorrow, Seniors tomorrow evening, swimming Thursday, etc. However, I'm going to prepare as if I am so I'm prepared. It's a shame, too. The weather is cooler but it's still bright out and this morning would have been perfect for the playground.

It is horrible that you feel like this Scout. I am so sorry this has happened to you.

Did a lot of running around yesterday, including Dr with DD2 at 7 last night, in the city, all is well. We we're home by 8.30pm but I seem to have worn myself out, temporarily. I'll see how the day goes from here.

Really must remember to come back here and cross out my list. I do it on my home to do list but it makes me feel good to see it shrink on here.
