Carrots - this kind www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2106393/Twelve-minutes-exercise-month-protect-heart-lower-risk-diabetes.html

I've just been diagnosed with glucose intolerance which is a pre-diabetic condition , hence resolution about sorting meals properly and exercising!!
I think it is the flylady version of exercise!

Three lots of 20 seconds bouncing star jumps on my mini exercise trampoline, separated by a few minutes getting my breath back sorting out washing that was on airer. Airer and trampoline are both in my spare room so bouncing prompts me to sort the washing! Grin

carrotsandcelery · 30/04/2012 12:51

I watched that programme Arti. I really hope it is successful quickly. Bouncing on a mini trampoline sounds fun Grin

educatingarti · 30/04/2012 13:01

Bouncing is fun - but I get knackered a bit out of breath rather quickly!

CatsSleepAnywhere · 30/04/2012 13:59

Have done 15 mins washing up.

Feeling a little CBA now but I suppose I was up too early! The tiredness must be kicking in.

carrotsandcelery · 30/04/2012 14:02

carrotsandcelery · 30/04/2012 14:02

CatsSleepAnywhere · 30/04/2012 14:07

Ta Das

Musts

Work
Write up 3 lessons (done 1)
Contact a parent-
Prepare 3 lessons ( done 2)
Teach 3 lessons
Wipe over work tables

Personal/household
Be organised about lunch and tea
Hang out washing

Would have loved to have dried washing outside today but the painters are still painting the outsides of the flats and it seemed like it would be an accident waiting to happen!

I am going to work for another hour now so happy to buddy up with carrots and cats! I'll be back in anhour to check up on you let you know how I'm getting on!

CatsSleepAnywhere · 30/04/2012 14:16

I'm off to dry up or something. I think I need to push myself to keep doing little bits.

I will get there one day and have a cleaner, more organized house!

Yay for Cats and Zoo! Well done for your ta dahs!
One lesson half planned here!

carrotsandcelery · 30/04/2012 14:39

Well done Cats.

I put lots of things away in the bedroom, filled a carrier bag with rubbish Blush and dusted it (apart from dh's bedside cabinet which is very cluttered).

I think that was a bit more than today's mission but it will catch me up maybe if it gets busy later in the week.

I also ironed one more shirt.

carrotsandcelery · 30/04/2012 14:40

Excellent list zoo. I may have to go and buy some chocolate to share out tonight. I haven't had any for ages!

educatingarti · 30/04/2012 15:21

Are we doing bedroom missions or ones for entry/hallways this week? Confused

educatingarti · 30/04/2012 15:46

Quick further update on ta dahs
Taken out kitchen rubbish plus plastics and paper recycling!

CatsSleepAnywhere · 01/05/2012 07:06

Morning all,

I won't link today's babystep as it's already linked in my first post up there ^

OP posts:
bessie26 · 01/05/2012 07:35

Once you have shined your sink, you might like to think about the current zone (The Entrance, Front Porch and Dining Room) and consider doing a mission (today's is to wipe fingerprints off the walls) or if you're really in the mood for it, do a bit of detailed cleaning

bessie26 · 01/05/2012 07:52

I forgot to say, the above are all OPTIONAL! Don't even think about doing them if you are busy or if your focus is decluttering! We don't want anyone getting stressed out or burnt out! Grin

carrotsandcelery · 01/05/2012 08:35

My link seems to have been wrong yesterday. Sorry folks. I suspect it was last week's and hadn't been updated yet. Oh well, my bedroom is a lot nicer to be in now Grin

Thanks for sorting it out bessie.

I failed on the first hurdle last night. My head was so sore I just wanted to lie down. I WILL do better today Blush

carrotsandcelery · 01/05/2012 08:36

I have nearly done babystep 2 - I just need to put my trainers on.

carrotsandcelery · 01/05/2012 09:29

Ta Das:

Bed stripped and in wash
washed and dressed (now in shoes)
dcs breakfasted
ds's lunch and snacks made (dd did this Shock)
dw loaded and on
worktops cleaned
dcs to school
phoned doc - appt 10.10am so not too long to wait
hoovered downstairs as it was extremely hairy
decluttered bits and bobs around the place as I travelled

Not bad for 9.30 I feel Smile
