babystep 30 - add buying birthday cards to your errands list.

Eh? This must be new? I don't think I've ever heard of an errands list before!

----> for Zoo but don't be too hard on yourself. Life throws us curve balls every now and then. That's what's so great about the babysteps. Just jump in where you can and don't worry about it too much. Just do what you can!

I am hoping to try and be more organised so have bought a few organisational tools for my paperwork. This morning I did a stock take of food in the kitchen and I think I have decided to keep this list and any menu planning lists in the kitchen as that is where I would need them.

Off to make a Brew and grab a bit more food before I start anything. I will lurk in the meantime. Wink

CatsSleepAnywhere · 30/03/2012 13:56

That's quite a good list zoo.

I'm going to make a start on my paperwork sorting now. I think half an hour should be enough to start with!

Hi zoo. You are not all alone. We were at an activity with dd this morning and then scouring the craft shop for the right sort of thread for her craft stuff.

We are now in for the day unless we venture out in the snow/sleet/rain to walk the dogs.

Ta Das:
breakfast
washed and dressed to shoes (all of us - holiday rules are that we dress fairly early on and that dcs get no tv if not dresssed).
activity and shopping
lunch
dh (car is broken so working from home) put a wash on while we were out.

Surprisingly the house is not a total tip. We did loads on Saturday and were out a lot yesterday but there is a MASSIVE pile of laundry to get through and it is vile weather so it will have to be dried inside again.

Scout19075 · 02/04/2012 13:07

I'm here, but not doing much.

Ta Dahs:
Toddler & I dressed to shoes
Toddler breakfasted and lunched
Grocery shopping
Groceries put away
Recycling out to bin
Have started packing up cake & cookie making stuff to take to inlaws (I'll do some holiday baking while we're there)
Started packing up books, etc for nearly-week away (recipe books, craft books, etc)

Due to MrScout's new project we've decided to go to the inlaws on Wednesday instead of Thursday so want to have everything sorted/packed by tomorrow so I can load the car tomorrow night. We'll be there for nearly a week. Shock They let me bake and stuff down there, rather than try to keep creations from getting ruined in the car, so need to pack up my pans, etc. Toddler will also take his trains because he would be lost without them.

CamperWidow · 02/04/2012 13:34

Well, we have been out all weekend so the house is still a tip just the same as Friday!!! Grin
Do we need to start a new thread for April?

CamperWidow · 02/04/2012 13:36

Scout we are going away for Easter too. Do you make Simnel Cake? MIL does a really nice one!
