Morning all!

Thanks for the reminders bessie - although I feel I am doing a lot there are a few things there I don't do everyday yet so I will work on it.

Ta Das:
washed and dressed to shoes
ds's lunch and snacks made
dcs breakfasted
wm on
dw on
worktops cleaned
guinea pigs out on the grass
bunnies fed as dd ran out of time this morning
ebay checked

carrotsandcelery · 26/03/2012 11:23

Ta Das:
Hoovered downstairs (keep finding bits of popcorn from the party)
Emptied hoover bag
Decluttered kitchen table

Thanks to the efforts at the weekend the public area of the house look totally visitor worthy just now.

I am aware that the study is gathering bits and pieces and the spare room requires dh to be around to help put things up into the loft.

carrotsandcelery · 26/03/2012 12:18

Ta Das:
washing hung and have put airer outside
wm on with another load
pots in back garden decluttered of dead plants Sad, weeds and dead leaves ready for planting but it is too early here to plant them yet. (We do have some purple, yellow etc flowers blooming in one of them already though).
one plant in back garden decluttered of dead bits from last year and now looking much better.

I will have to be careful as we are not out of the woods yet on the frost/snow front here so I can't do too much in the garden or it will all die.

liveinazoo · 26/03/2012 12:27

carrotsandcelery · 26/03/2012 14:27

Did a bit more gardening

I have uncovered a burrow by cutting back dead foliage from last year and now I feel really guilty, especially as it won't be hot all the time for a while yet.

What animals burrow?

CamperWidow · 26/03/2012 14:34

Feeling much more positive now! :)

carrotsandcelery · 26/03/2012 15:05

That is another load out on the airer to dry and another in the machine. Hopefully it is hot enough to dry all of that in a day.

carrotsandcelery · 26/03/2012 17:46

That is load three out to dry. There is no more room so that is the laundry for the day. Yay!

bessie26 · 27/03/2012 07:09

Babystep 27 - what's for dinner?

carrotsandcelery · 27/03/2012 12:51

Good question bessie - I haven't got a clue. It will have to be something based around potato salad as ds has a thing for it at the moment and eats it very enthusiastically.

Ta Das:

washed and dressed to shoes
ds's snacks and lunch made
ds's extra easter stuff packed for school
wash on
ebay stuff packed & now posted
mini shop done
been to bank and other little jobs like that done
ds's bags for after school packed and waiting

I still need to hang the wash, load the dw and rescue the kitchen though.

I need to get cracking.

It is in the 20's again here today. Is it this nice everywhere? I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine and warmth.

Scout19075 · 27/03/2012 13:40

Dinner -- slow cooker pepper steak. Yes, it's in. Wink Though I think I put it on a bit early so it will sit in the cooker on "keep warm" for a bit longer than usual.

To Do Today:
prep slow cooker dinner
take out meat from freezer for Wednesday's dinner
clear out 'fridge of past-it stuff (there was a funny smell and tomorrow's bin day)
take out trash
take out recycling
go to Tesco recycling (might be our afternoon walk)
wash pots/pans from Monday
write out receipts (Seniors)
update Seniors spreadsheet/s
enlarge patterns for HE meet-up activity
create patterns/tracers for previously mentioned activity
15 minute decluter, kitchen
15 minute declutter, living room
update presents spreadsheet (with Easter Eggs details)
email Seniors (x2 different emails)
Scholastic order
email PiL
laminate games
download London pictures for girls
get MrScout to download his London pictures for girls
empty nappy bin and take out to bin (for bin day)

There's also the usual washing up, cooking, toys away, etc. But when Toddler gets up we'll go for a walk to either the park/playground or to Tesco for the recycling.

carrotsandcelery · 27/03/2012 13:41

Ta Das:

washing hung
new wash on
dw loaded
work tops cleaned

Ta Da:

Bagged up old clothes for recycling
Cleared nursery so Muddles could actually sleep in her actual room!!! Shock
Ordered Neices' year pass to Bewilderwood for her birthday Grin

(all this whilst potty training a 2.6 year old and weaning a 6 month old!!!! )

carrotsandcelery · 27/03/2012 14:45

Impressive Camper!

carrotsandcelery · 27/03/2012 14:46

I have:

procrastinated
finally folded and put away laundry

I am now having another breather as it is boiling and I feel guilty because Twilight follows me everywhere when I am in the house and she is hot and exhausted.

  • hotspot (bedroom)
carrotsandcelery · 27/03/2012 22:11

bessie a birthday gift for a child that age is very tricky. Many of my friends didn't get their dcs one as they knew plenty of friends would get them things and it would just be more stuff in the house.

We got ds a Fisher price garage. I can't remember what we gave dd.

Having an older sibling makes it even harder as you already have toys for their age group.

How about a family photo session? It will mean nothing to her just now but would be fun to look back on.

liveinazoo · 28/03/2012 06:47

signing in for hard physical labour today.
have doctors appointment this morning then i will be in to sort out the mess thats forming
i didnt wash up last night so thats the first task before do anything else!

bessie26 · 28/03/2012 07:19

Babystep 28 - remember to eat, drink (water) & rest

liveinazoo · 28/03/2012 07:40

i need help with the drinking....im getting better but am only at 500mls a day
pointy sstick me to drink more!!!

bessie26 · 28/03/2012 09:23

I need to drink more too zoo. I was thinking I should set an alarm on my phone every hour to remind me. When I was good & drank more, I used to get a drink every time I had a wee, which was quite a good self-perpetuating reminder system!

Thanks for the present ideas carrots, funnily enough a garage was one of the best things we saw (but DH said the cars didn't go fast enough down the slope! Grin) I think something where you put things in the top & it slides down to the bottom is the only kind of toy we don't already have, so suspect we will get that. Photos would be great, but we had 2 sessions (groupon deals) last autumn & winter, so prob don't need any more for a while.

liveinazoo · 28/03/2012 11:47
