realizes it just gone 1 and scuttles off to tidy kitchen(avoiding doors to hall. plaster now all way up stairsnoooooo)

Dlamis · 24/02/2012 13:30

carrots hope the psychologist visit goes well.

scout - TS sounds lovely. He sounds alot like ds1. They do seem to instinctively behave better when we are ill. I've been seriously ill a couple of times in the last 2.5years and both ds's were amazing.

Hope poorly flyers are feeling better today

Dlamis · 24/02/2012 13:49

And having just read this thread I am running a washing machine and dishwasher maintenance wash. Eeeewww

BlackCatTryingToFly · 24/02/2012 14:01

How many DC do you have Dlamis?

I have hanged wet washing and put away some dry washing.
I also phoned the doctors for my blood test results, they are now normal, YAY!!
Grin.
So I think if I am getting CBA-itis lately it must be linked to depression.

OP posts:
liveinazoo · 24/02/2012 14:04

yAY for BC blood resultsGrin.at least you can rule that out
done much in the hour?

liveinazoo · 24/02/2012 14:07

bessie26 · 24/02/2012 14:08

Dlamis i run the DW & WM hot & empty every month (ish) Only recently started using Dr Beckmanns (?) or soda crystals though!

I've cleared up from lunch, made a Brew, had some more pills & am back in bed. Will attempt a nap after I've finished Brew & not think about how lovely & sunny it is outside & how I should be doing something useful in the garden!

bessie26 · 24/02/2012 14:11

Glad your blood tests came back ok - keep taking those iron pills!

liveinazoo · 24/02/2012 14:28

bessie steady stream!Confused

last summer i had routine inspection as live in a council house and the goverment had launched the home standard bill
decided i needed a new bathroom and the cracks that the council had refused for 8months to do anything about needed checking by a surveyer

turns out we had major subsidance-cracks running across 1 corner of the kitchen diagonal ceiling to floor wide enough to get fingertips in.same bathroom.then we had a dry spell of week and sink fell off bathroom wall!!!!!

that speeded things upGrin
august next door had a 15ft pine tree removed(as potential cause) then work began dig up round back property to look at foundations
wasnt the tree.was decided needed 25 tonns concrete underpinning, metal mesh reinforcing of brickwork and then interior repairs
the underpinning was done by mid september then decent homes trailied through and ripped out all heating and refitted and all electrics and refitted.bathroom was then done and redecorated.major issues company doing that
december was finally signed off and interior work on subsidance restarted.kitchen had to be ripped out and replaced after all cracks reinforced with mesh andplastered.kithen floor had to be ripped up and resurfaced.new floor laid.
during this bath leaked and lost chunk kitchen ceiling.this was repaired few days before xmas
last task was repairing ds room.crack formed deeply round windows.thats been done tis week with mesh and plaster.mantles above windows were changed from wood to concrete also.
on monday we get the plinths for curtains put back up.then theyre out the way....
tueday plumbers in to sort toilet that keeps blocking
hoping thats my share of workmen for a very long time to come over with!!!

liveinazoo · 24/02/2012 14:29

i have a lot decorating to do as new radiators are much smaller

does decorating class as flying

Dlamis · 24/02/2012 14:36

Hurray for normal blood tests BC.
I have 2 ds's and keep flitting between going/not going for dc3 depending on what sort of day we've had and how many newborn babies i've seen that day. There are far too may around at the moment to be able to make a rational decision!

zoo I put his name down at 6 months when i overheard someone else talking about how long the waiting list was, over 2 years!!!!

1 badge done, 3 to go I hate sewing

BlackCatTryingToFly · 24/02/2012 14:39

Zoo That's an awful lot of upheaval to go through!! Shock I bet your glad it's nearly done!

bessie I have to talk to doctor about my iron tablets - whether to carry on or not, hopefully find out Monday.
Hope you feel better soon.

I think next weeks zone is 2 zones, Half the week in one and half in other.--not sure if I will do the zones yet--

BlackCatTryingToFly · 24/02/2012 14:42

Anyone got a pointy stick? I ought to go and wash up [CBA emoticon].

OP posts:
bessie26 · 24/02/2012 14:56

I just closed my eyes & DD2 started making noises She goes quiet every now & then and I drift off, and then she starts "talking" again (no idea who to, perhaps her socks?!) - I'll have to get DD1 up soon, so will just try for 5 more mins snoozing... DD1 is always so grumpy when you try to get her out of bed, I really can't face it right now!!

Dlamis · 24/02/2012 14:58

Blimey zoo that lot would have sent me up the wall.

Prods BC with ------> and goes on school run before anyone can prod me back. Still only done 1 badge.

bessie26 · 24/02/2012 15:23

Sorry zoo was am still half asleep for last post - all that work would have driven me over the edge I think! Do you have to do all inside decoration yourself? Will be lovely when done, but also v. time consuming & expensive Sad. We moved here 5yrs ago & still need to decorate the living room & hall/stairs/landing. And buy new front & back doors. Nothing will be done until I'm back at work.

I'm going to make a Brew & get a drink/snack for DD2 before attempting to get lazy bones DD1 out of her bed.

BlackCatTryingToFly · 24/02/2012 16:07

I still haven't made it to the kitchen but have cleared "lego hell" from the living room, hoovered the floor and got the car play mat out for the DC who are now fighting over cars. Hmm I can't win!! DD gets so aggressive and throws things when she doesn't get her own way.Sad I hope it is just a phase that she grows out of and not a behaviour problem.

OP posts:
Scout19075 · 24/02/2012 16:58

Sorry I haven't been around. I'm still rough, though better than I have been, but I think Toddler's on the downslide. Sad Roll on the weekend and having MrScout around to help out.

BlackCatTryingToFly · 24/02/2012 17:13

Have now done some washing up and made a start on dinner.

Scout and bessie hope you get better soon.

OP posts:
bessie26 · 24/02/2012 17:46

Well done on clearing your Lego hell BC! I'm watching the DD's stuff their faces on cheese & onion muffins.

scout I keep thinking I'm getting better, and then feeling worse. Hope TS doesn't get it as badly as you. When do you start your treatment? Do you have to be lurgy free before you begin?

DH is home, well he was but had to go take the hire car back, so should be back for bath&bed time although I'm not sure if he's going to be a help or hindrance!
