Very weird day -- have found the key is take the next dose of pain pills before the existing dose wears off. Have managed to move today, though may have pushed a bit too much. Actually have a few ta dah's as well. Grin

I hate illness.

liveinazoo · 23/02/2012 13:01

ive decided as the suns shining and its warm enough to work outside without a coatShock i shall attempt clear a bit of the front garden(major job)
it would be lovely to pass through gate into a tidy front garden and then into neat hall

BlackCatTryingToFly · 23/02/2012 13:05

Zoo If you are around, I need a cup of tea and a rest for a little while.

Sorry Zoo, I was on the verge of a panic/anxiety attack. am o.k. now, just sitting for a while having a brew. I'll hang around on MN for a while.

carrotsandcelery · 23/02/2012 14:05

Hi BC are you around just now?

When ds has panic attacks we are teaching him to blow air out as if he is blowing bubbles or blowing up a balloon. I have tried it myself and it is remarkably calming.

BlackCatTryingToFly · 23/02/2012 14:10

Hi, Carrots, am having a late lunch now as couldn't have it earlier.

I think that does work Carrots. I am alright now but will try and remember for next time.

OP posts:
carrotsandcelery · 23/02/2012 14:12

Glad you are ok now. I hope nothing upsetting has happened.

I am having a wee rest and some lunch after a busy morning. Nothing more has been done here so there are jobs building up but I need a breather first.

BlackCatTryingToFly · 23/02/2012 14:18

I am probably worrying over nothing.

I need to wash up and put the washing machine on but might have another Brew first.

OP posts:
Dlamis · 23/02/2012 14:25

Hi, I'm still lurking --must turn computer off soon--.
Will try to pop back around 4. (it's nearly school run time Shock).
Will turn the washing machine on after school run now. the airers are full anyway.

Well done on your gardening Zoo.
We are more cloudy here in the north but it is warmer today. Smile

Well done on your washing Dlamis

OP posts:
Dlamis · 23/02/2012 14:59

Wow zoo, you have done well (and put me to shame Blush).

:o

bessie26 · 23/02/2012 15:56

hello! I've not had any pills since first thing this morning & feel ok-ish. Will be having some more with tea though as I don't feel well enough to see me through bath/bed time!

The sun is out here & I was very tempted to get out in the garden, but decided that would be over-doing it (I have a pampas grass that needs dealing with)

I was thinking earlier that I hadn't done anything this week, but I realised that I've managed to keep on top of everything, despite DH being away & being poorly (ok, I haven't mopped the kitchen floor this week, or changed the bedsheets, or done the missions, but they can wait) - I think I really am starting to do things automatically now, and am getting alot better at picking up after myself!

DD2 has worked out how to open the spout on her sippy cup & drip milk all over herself & the floor

BlackCatTryingToFly · 23/02/2012 16:03

I remember that stage well bessie.

Washing machine is loaded and on. Yay! I feel like i'm starting to get the washing done more often this week, which is a good thing as I have a large backlog

OP posts:
liveinazoo · 23/02/2012 16:09

glad everyones managing to get some stuff done todaySmile

ive realised how great this system is;when i feel good crack on and tackle lots, okish basics and poss bit current zone, rubish coast and do whatever i can manage

so far ive managed (since january)to make a decent difference to the place adn more importantly MAINTAINED what ive dejunkedGrin

anyone got a pointy stick handy.i should get on with a few tings indoors but scooby doos on tv and im having trouble ripping myself away

BlackCatTryingToFly · 23/02/2012 16:17

---------> For you Zoo.

I am refereeing the kids as they keep kicking off! I hate this time of day. they always seem at their worst just after school.

Next week I will feel like a single parent cause DH is working till late. Sad

OP posts:
bessie26 · 23/02/2012 16:31

Yay! Glad it's working for you zoo!

DD2 has just eaten her & my portions of soup for tea! (I had to have an emergency PBJ sandwich )

Just need to get her cleaned up a bit, then off to pick DD1 up from pre-school. They're going straight in the bath for (hopefully) another early night.
