shall we do 11 til 11.30

BlackCatTryingToFly · 30/01/2012 10:47

My living room is fairly tidy --apart from the toys on the floor and dust.--
My dining room and kitchen need things doing in them.

I think my next job will be clear the dining table, I cleared the floor onto it so I could hoover.

BlackCatTryingToFly · 30/01/2012 10:48

sounds o.k zoo but I might have to stop around 11.25.

Scout19075 · 30/01/2012 10:51

I might need a buddy today, too, but will probably have to wait until TS goes for a nap. He's a bit snotty and a bit more demanding today because of it so flying is going at a slower pace than normal.

BlackCatTryingToFly · 30/01/2012 10:51

carrots you can join in too! Smile and anyone else.

We could have meeting times on here in between our jobs.

liveinazoo · 30/01/2012 11:04

BlackCatTryingToFly · 30/01/2012 11:22

Hi all, I'm stopping now for this morning as I have to pick up DD soon.
Will hopefully be back between 12 and 1.30

Scout19075 · 30/01/2012 11:29

WHEW! Intense 15 minutes (started late due to a code brown from Toddler). Think I'll need to stop and see about his lunch then getting him down for a nap.

liveinazoo · 30/01/2012 11:34

carrotsandcelery · 30/01/2012 11:40

I'm back. I have sorted Special Agent Playmobil into one box, Knights playmobil into another and moved them both out of the kitchen. I have hoovered the mat for the castle and rolled it up and put away the castle (ish) too. I also swept the floor all around that area. I took some recycling out to the garage as well. I still have a tray of lego to sort out but the room looks a bit bare.

Scout Camp's dinner. Not sure about lunch -- probably some left over stirfry. TS doesn't like that, though, so he'll probably have a toasted cheese sandwich (one of his favorite lunches).

carrotsandcelery · 30/01/2012 11:45

I am considering this veggie Shepherd's Pie for tea tonight. I have no clue what lunch will be.

OP posts:
Scout19075 · 30/01/2012 12:11

TS refused all offers of lunch and asked for bed. He feels a bit warm to the touch so not surprised he just wants cuddles and sleep.

Put my lunch on and managed to take two bags to the bin (nappies and normal kitchen waste) and two carrier bags worth of stuff to the recycling bin. Not bad for a three minute reheat. Grin Am going to eat and indulge in a bit of television then go and put dinner in the slow cooker.

carrotsandcelery · 30/01/2012 12:16

Poor TS. I hope he manages to have a good snooze.

I have the veggie Shepherd's pie well under way. I read the reviews and reduced the liquid in it massively and it is still not too stodgy. I have also added a courgette to the lentil mix and some normal potatoes as well as the sweet potatoes to the mash. I will report tonight on the success or otherwise.

I also loaded all my dishes in the dw as I went along so the place doesn't look totally trashed by my cooking escapade.

I need to declutter the kitchen table once again and the foot stool once again and dust the kitchen windowsills today. I am having a wee breather though until one of you kicks me off the sofa again Grin

...afternoon ladies!

Slept in until 11 ShockShock
Gorgeous DH sorted DS's (on INSET today) and left me there - feeling VERY guilty now though Blush

Definately would like to go back to babysteps, but also want to get to grip with missions (how do they work?)

Have done (another) load of washing, made beds and emptied dishwasher.

Big walk in the woods this pm with DH and boys - leftover chicken for tea, might make a pie....

liveinazoo · 30/01/2012 12:19

scout hope TS feels a bit betr after a nap.a lot bugs with fevers/snot going on round here.friend in my streets son had hi fever and was jibbering deliriously for 24hrSad-hes 5...not good.only good thing bout it in my house has been no need for heating on as just cuddled up to my hot children while they eating lollies!!!!

Scout19075 · 30/01/2012 12:35

One thing Toddler is good at is sleeping. He wasn't so good at it for the first three months he was on this earth but now he's a champion. And in the last few days he's learned to say "sleep" and "bed". Grin Had asked him earlier if he wanted to go to Beans this afternoon and he said yes but now I think I'm going to wait and see how long he sleeps and how he looks when he gets up (normally I'd make sure he was up to make at least make an hour of the 90 minute group). I'm not worried about his lack of sandwich before nap -- he had asked for a bowl of cereal around 10:30.

But if we don't go to Beans I won't make it to town for donations and to the tip for cardboard recycling (was going to tie it all in together). Oh well. Will still load the stuff into the boot and it'll be ready for tomorrow when we go swimming.

Envy of Neenook's lie in. I would love a nap/lie in.

Ten more minutes of being a potato and I'm off to make dinner and do the washing up from today.

carrotsandcelery · 30/01/2012 12:38

zoo you are very welcome to join us for tea Grin

Neenook don't feel guilty. Your body clearly needed it and dh is aware of it so just start the day from here.

Scout19075 · 30/01/2012 12:53

Last night as I was changing him for bed he just kept sobbing "ded ded ded" (bed bed bed). Today it ws more like "Bubby ded" (Bunny bed). "TS, would you like to go up to bed?" "Yesh" with a big head nod and no protest at being picked up and carried upstairs. I can hear him up there coughing and trying to get comfortable. Sad
