I have a couple of errands to do in the morning before we leave PiL to be back in time for the plumber. I'll take advantage of being here to do the errands Toddler-free so will get done much more quickly!

Tonight's to do includes giving Toddler a bath (always good fun for him), menu planning and writing the shopping list. I'm not sure if I'll have time to shop on the way home/before the plumber arrives but it's better to be prepared.

Given the conversations with MrScout last week and our inability to attack over the weekend I'm not sure what room I'm going to concentrate on. I might go back to the kitchen since that's primarily my domain.

Well done on the drying up black - that is my most hated task! And yes, you must eat, don't you eat with the DC?

cjbk1 I forgot to ask earlier, what happened when buying the vacuum cleaner?

And trinity (or rhino?) are you restarting the babysteps from the beginning?

Bessie I normally do but today it all seemed to go out of the window anyway we are all fed now.
I did a bit more washing up before I made our food.

Hmmmm... I have a dilemma. Do I open a normal sized bottle of wine tonight, which will mean I have half a bottle left to "tidy up" tomorrow night, or do I be good, and just drink one of those little lunch boxed sized bottles?

guna grab a bowl cereal and some fruit in a mo for my dinner(kids wanted that so i thought id have mine in peace when they are akip)

theyve been such little troopers let mum be and play upatairs a lot or quietly.had a few spats but no where near as many as usual

times like this i realise how lovely they really are and then i feel sad that im not the mum they need right now.....

no brainer bessie-big one and then declutter rest tomorrow night

im off now for the evening.time for a bite to eat and then call the midwifes on at 8 on bbc1 so will retreat to sofa and fluffy snaffly blanky-its bright fuschia pink and feel soft like a cats fur.very soothy to wrap up in

Evening everyone. I have more or less recovered from "Call The Midwife" and the film I took dd and her friend to this afternoon All in all it has been a bit of a sob fest today.

Zoo I am positive you are a great mum. Part of growing up is learning that we all have our ups and downs and that they need to be respected. They clearly get that and are trying to be supportive. We are all here for you. Please try to keep popping in and chatting.

I have spent the evening, since I got in and before Midwives, trying to groom Twilight. She doesn't like it but she does look a bit better and she is getting a bit better at putting up with it. Does that count as flying? I could be decluttering the dog

Hi Carrots I have been good, taking my iron tablets at around 9.30 every night since Thursday although I haven't had tonight's yet. Must do that next!

hehehe carrots there is a golf tour every year in May. DH didn't go last year as DD2 was born in April, so I am expecting him to want to go this year... wonder what other jobs I can get him to do first?

Thinking about it, he is away for work the week after next, I really must find the "to-do" list I wrote for him last year!

The sink is clean, the oven hob is clean, kids bedclothes washed & dried, DD2's playmat washed & dried, upstairs & downstairs vacuumed, tomorrow's lunch is in the slow cooker, meal plan done, & wine almost all drunk (DH is helping me)

as ive bin up since 4.45 thought id best make a start as tend to burn out quite quick as day goes on and CBA itis sets in

i am still in pjs but its the hols and i will get dressed when im good and ready(and before take kids dentist)

Morning Zoo, I didn't do too badly for sleep last night, went to sleep around 11.30pm awake at 6.00am. DD's cough is hopefully getting better as she didn't wake me up with it.
The DC are still in bed so I am enjoying a bit of me time with a coffee before the daily chaos ensues.

Peace is shattered. DD is up. Wish me luck!
