who had the cheese muffin recipe?if it was posted i cant find it!

carrotsandcelery · 13/01/2012 20:01

zoo I do minimal in the evening or I don't sleep. I only have to shine my sink tonight as no packed lunches or snacks are required tomorrow.

I see what you mean about bunfights. I nipped out for a minute and it was scary. I have come back here to shelter.

We are moving ever closer to blue Monday or whatever it is a called and it shows. Shock

When you click on missions it takes you through to 'look up'. Have never done missions; they look like advice about how to work on the week's zone? Turns out I have missed out on:
Mon: Look up (did today throughout downstairs)
Tue - wipe down outside of cabinets (epic fail, maybe tomorrow)
Wed - Sort Fridge (did this but by accident)
Thur - Clear worktops (done every day = done)
Fri - sweep and mop - will do tomorrow.

Under the stairs and hall is sorted for now. I have a small space that I want to fit shelves into. I wanted lidded wicker baskets to store shoes, school bag etc out of sight. I think I will need to go with clear plastic - they fit better and I can't find the right wicker basket.

In other news, I now know who Kelly is.

thank carots.x

You are ahead of the game Egg I think Confused

I think we only started doing missions today, and as bessie said we could pick one, so we only need to have done one of them.

This is reminding me of doing homework and worrying that I had done the right questions Grin

Eventually we will do 5 missions a week, Monday to Friday if you have time to follow that system.

OP posts:
Eggrules · 13/01/2012 20:24

Oh I see. I think I have inadvertently followed some if them. I only started missions today for babystep 13. I did 'look up; cos I just followed the link and did the first one. I now know that I will have a mission each weekday (if I cba).

What is next week's zone. PS I am not Monica Gellar.

carrotsandcelery · 13/01/2012 20:26

I saw the first one and didn't fancy it which made me feel I had to do the one marked "Friday" and I didn't like that either [fussy] but felt obliged to do it now that I had looked Blush

Usually the missions aren't too big or time consuming and they can be strangely satisfying.

I am scared to look at next week's zone.

OP posts:
Eggrules · 13/01/2012 20:36

Ha carrots I think look up was the easiest - maybe this explains why I didn't look any further. I count this in my 15 mins for the zone.

I clearly like to follow instructions. Learning a lot about myself.

carrotsandcelery · 13/01/2012 20:41

I didn't even read it through. I was so so so so so scared it was going to suggest tidying up all the stuff I have on top of my kitchen cupboards that I moved on in blind panic. Blush

That means that that one is there to haunt me still. Yikes!

Btw I think that is why flylady works. You just have to do what you are told. After a while you start thinking for yourself and seeing other things you need to do etc. but for now just doing what I am told is fine Smile

That must be where I am going wrong. --I am a bit rebellious-- Grin

BlackCatLookingForwardToSpring · 13/01/2012 20:53

< Wanders off to make a hot chocolate >

redlac · 13/01/2012 20:56

Wow! You lot have been busy :)

My productive day consisted of looking out my front window nosing at my neighbours from hell moving just to make sure they were definitely going

Oh but I did wash the windows (to help with the nosing), put a wash on and hang it up and cleaned out the tool/screwdriver/screw drawer!

Off to have a Brew then wash down the front of the kitchen cupboards

BlackCatLookingForwardToSpring · 13/01/2012 21:02

redlac You have just reminded me of the basket of washing I still need to hang on the airer. Blush
Will do it before I go to bed. Just having a Brew first.

carrotsandcelery · 13/01/2012 21:02

BlackCat I have been hypnotised and under hypnosis was asked what I really wanted. Apparently I giggled and said I wanted to be naughty and I wanted to have some fun Blush Grin I am clearly a repressed rebel.

I did lots of rebelling in my yoof but live in a small village now which doesn't seem to have room for rebellion so I seem to have learned to do as I am told finally.

I do not think it is a good thing Grin

OP posts:
carrotsandcelery · 13/01/2012 21:04

I have also forgotten a machine full of wet washing. Thank you redlac.

A Brew sounds good though - might REBEL and have that first (and then do what I am told)

OP posts:
carrotsandcelery · 13/01/2012 21:05

Have the awful neighbours gone then redlac? What made them so bad [nosey]? Who is moving in instead? [really nosey]

OP posts:
redlac · 13/01/2012 21:09

YES! they have gone! They were nice neighbours up until the eldest turned 17 and since then its been like living next to a youth club, a hash smoking youth club that opened between the hours of 5pm til 3am every night. I'm sure you can imagine the rest :)

New people seem nice with two DDs younger than my DD. Family every day noise I can handle, 5 teenage boys who have been drinking & smoking all weekend thundering up the stairs every 5 minutes I can't really do - so I am happy!

Now be off with you all and hang up your washing before it goes foostie :)

BlackCatLookingForwardToSpring · 13/01/2012 21:11

I need to learn to stop putting things off (procrastinating). I thinks that's where my rebellious side has control. It tells me "oh, you can do it later"
When I have finished my drink I will try to do some of the washing up that is sitting in the kitchen. Blush

redlac · 13/01/2012 21:12

carrots I'm sure there must be ways you can rebel (quietly) in a small village????

Maybe thats why I'm failing FlyLady? Deep down I just don't like been told what to do

BlackCatLookingForwardToSpring · 13/01/2012 21:16

redlac Me and you could live in the naughty corner! Grin

carrotsandcelery · 13/01/2012 21:16

Dry washing folded and put away.

Wet washing now on airer.

Do I get a sticker?

OP posts:
BlackCatLookingForwardToSpring · 13/01/2012 21:19

Right someone give me a boot and I'll go and do some work!

bessie26 · 13/01/2012 21:20

I am going to REBEL by having some chocolate in a minute. Except I told myself I was allowed to have some tonight, so I am really conforming?

Anyway, the "look up" thing is easy (from what I remember she says it every week), when I vacuum the zone room, I just put the fluffy attachment on & vacuum the ceiling too! I do the skirting boards too

I'm taking DD1 to the hairdressers in the morning, so I had to just wash my hair, will straighten it in the morning too! Shock Am debating changing DD1s hairstyle. It's currently in a kind of bob, with a long fringe which she usually has clipped to one side, but am not sure whether to get her a fringe cut in or not (DH thinks not) - it l
