I'm off out as its full moon tonight, so I'll catch up later :)

I'm still on holiday, don't know what anyone else's excuse is though!

I am still ignoring the pile of dirty laundry, but have calculated that I can get away with not going to the launderette as long as DD2 doesn't possett over too many clothes tomorrow! (we go home on Friday)

I have lots of people popping round to give DD1 birthday presents next week, so need to get straight back into flying. Oh goody.

Busy errr... not cleaning.

I've been out today. And DS has been keeping me up again with his itchy eczema, poor thing, so I'm on napping survival mode.

Just need to sort the washing, clean high chair & get ready for bed now. :)

Evening all!

I have been out all day too. A friend's youngest was ill so we took her eldest out for the day. We had a great time. She has no pets so walking the dog was a huge novelty for her and then she had a great time feeding the guinea pigs etc.

I have done lots of cleaning in snatched moments today though as we had a small party this evening so had a babysitter.

Feeling a little bit merry now and praying it doesn't have after effects as I am horse riding tomorrow.

back now ds1 is ill so i feel a day off school tomorrow will be happening but it is all good as I am now giving up my avon and will have more time and a lot less clutter !!!!!!!!!!

What do you do on a full moon if you don't mind me asking Gossip?

I hope ds1 is ok. Is it exhaustion or has he picked up the bug you had earlier?

Its usually the usual stuff spells and rituals really, sometimes we do some training as well as its a group where we learn different things and it really helps to make our rituals and spells work better.

It sounds so fascinating Gossip. Did you make a spell to help you keep the sink shiney?

I have cleaned out the indoor guinea pigs. Dd cleaned them out last night but they were smelly already. I am experimenting with different layers of bedding to see if they can go longer without cleaning them out - twice a day doesn't seem realistic.

I have got off to a good start this morning,
I have already got the washing machine on and have done one lot of washing up. I have noticed a difference since I have been using less cups.

I have now given a guinea pig a haircut and I am trying to get ds to gather up some stuff to play with while I have my lesson.

I used to clean the guinea pigs out at school & only did it twice a week, (AFAIK no-one else did it?!) so twice a day sounds far too often to me.

I am also and at your eBay sales. Perhaps I should have sold some of the books I've given away to charity.... oh well, too late now, but I think I'll eBay some of the crap unwanted gifts we get for Xmas!

bessie I have safely returned but feel incredibly sleepy - ridiculously sleepy. The dcs seem the same. I don't know if we have just been too busy over the last couple of days. [hhmm]

Don't regret giving your books away bessie. Not one single book I have put on ebay has sold yet and they are on their third relisting at the moment. It is mostly outgrown clothes that I have sold. I have sold a couple of games and jigsaws but they didn't make much money really. Some of the clothes went for a pittance but the odd thing seems to go mad and makes up for the other stuff.

blackcat well done on the dishes reduction scheme. Maybe you should get everyone a plate with their name on it for Christmas so they want it again the next time they eat and wash it up themselves.

Whooo hooo!! I finally got round to doing the pots, ( think I may have to invest in a dishwasher soon) so far I have
washed the pots,
offloaded all my avon to my dbs gf, amazing how much that stuff clutters the house,
hotspotted the table and we can eat at it again lol
I've done three loads of washing and
folded up the wash mountain upstairs into neat easy to manage piles,
I've hoovered 4 packets of crisps off my rug and have now banned crisps entirely
Ds1 is driving me mad and its half term next week too...
but he did tidy his room and organised the dvd's although went on for three hours about 1 missing dvd case (sigh)

My netbook is only going for £2.20at the min and I was hoping it would be more than that [hsad] need to get DS1 his own tbh just for my own sanity iykwim,

I think I may have to think up some motivation spells to help me on my way.

Hi Gossip I am around now. I spent the morning tidying up the house and then we went out for lunch (dh has the day off) and to pick up Winter boots for dd. I have also been listing a few things on ebay ready for the free listing weekend.

So far I have:
Washed and dressed to shoes
decluttered the kitchen table
decluttered the back door
decluttered the sofa and stool
hoovered the kitchen thoroughly
got the dcs to pick up all their toys from the kitchen floor

There is still a lot to do but it looks a lot better. I haven't dusted for ages and it really shows so I need to get on with some of that pretty soon. It never takes as long as I fear it will.

What is everyone else up to?

And now I'm here.

Carrots I like your long list of stuff for a cold winter (-20 thread, Chat).
I might get my pen and notebook out! On a serious note though I think I need to be more prepared than last winter as I remember trying to go Christmas shopping when the pavements were covered in ice the week before Christmas.

Me on the other hand, enjoyed my last day of freedom for a week by procrastinating at a friends, ds1 is at his dads til sunday so its just the mess maker and me...

I have also been messaging an old friend on fb and texting him too, he's been a little flirty and I'm enjoying the attention [hwink].

If there's nothing on telly tonight I think I'll be doing a fair bit of detailed cleaning in the lounge.
