Parcel was delivered to neighbour this morning at 8.00, after me arranging for it to be delivered at 4.30 this afternoon but at least its here, need to check it now

dd2s play was brilliant she had quite abit to say so she did really well

Hello, hope everyone is having a good weekend?

We went shopping yesterday, today is mainly consisting of F1 watching and then out for a meal later, then down to my parents for the day tomorrow.
House is tidy-ish and we are on top of the laundry, so all is well.

I am dreading this week though - no pre-school, no music class and my BF is on holiday! Arrggghhh.

Ok here, tired, DD not sleeping well. And she's been on a major milk-mission all day so i've succumbed to giving her a dummy. Not a major thing to many people i know, but i hate dummies (only bought them when pg with DS1 in a fit of 'i must have everything in case' shopping). so it's making me kind of :( to see her sleeping peacefully, having gone off without a cuddle or a feed. Ridiculous really.

got visitors over tomorrow so gave the house a good clean. I have:

• cleaned kitchen surfaces
• cleaned cooker
• mopped kitchen floor
• hoovered all rooms
• cleaned bath
• cleaned sink
• cleaned 2x toilets

i have also made tea and cleared up and loaded the dishwasher. Am just going to have a bath whilst OH puts kids to bed then cosy up to watch a film with a glass of wine :-)

JKS - I'm not a dummy lover either, although DS1 still has one now to go to bed! We gave him one when he was about 2 weeks old because he just wouldn't settle, and he really took to it.
We tried DS2 with one too, but he doesn't like it - he spits it out and pulls a face. There are times when I wish he would take it and give my poor nipples a rest!!

well DD just seems so content with the dummy, and i commented to DH that we've lost that contentment the last few days, not sure why, a growth spurt? but she's been almost manic at the breast, fighting it, etc for a few days, so it was lovely to just have cuddles with her looking at me all relaxed and happy :)
She didn't really use it overnight & is sleeping without it now so may not be a permanent thing, but helped yesterday.

Up mega-early with DS2. But got ironing done while he had breakfast & DS1 & DH slept!

Mornin' all. Had a good weekend with DD1 (HMHB) and the DGCs staying,they are growing so fast. The men were on child duty on Sun while we girls went shopping, course that meant they had to go to the pub later as a reward

I need to get quite a lot done today. We've had a lovely weekend, but everything is a bit chaotic - as it tends to be when I've tried to have a 'holiday' like DH

I'm getting increasingly annoyed with DH for being so rubbish at paperwork/admin/paying any attention to the family budget. How do you all sort things? I have threatened to start opening his post and just dealing with things if he doesn't buck up, which lead to a rather heated discussion!
