The curtains I won are LOVELY! Look really good though I do need to shorten the tabs a bit. Even dd likes them which is good cos they are really for those with a y chromosome (coded as she is reading over my shoulder! damn her being able to read-got told off for typing shit earlier too)

Both she and I have conjunctivitus so she is off school. Ds seems ok so far though.

Oh and some good news, DS was due to have an operation on his eye next week. Have spoken to the consultant, who has agreed that we can postpone at least until we next see her, no urgency now, so am v. pleased about that!

Hello Slatterns!

Finally home after the arrival of baby Thomas by planned section on Monday lunchtime. He was 9lbs 9ozs!!
We've had a stressful few days in hospital with problems with his blood sugar levels, but all ok now and he is feeding like a dream - or he is once I can get his flailing arms out of the way and get him latched on
Hormones all over the place, feeling v.teary about all sorts of things including having turned DS1's life on it's head - but v.v.happy :)

My Mum is in charge of all domestic matters atm so no lists until next week

Yey to Ali and Ali DH!!! Welcome to Thomas (a fine name, also my DS's second name!). make the most of your mum being there!!! Lovely news, congratulations.

We've broken up . Oh crap, I have no idea what I am going to do with them for 3.5 weeks! DH going away for a week, PIL's going away for the same week (great). So it's just me and them. I am on 24/7 duty even more than normal with no time at all during the day to oversee my house project/tidy the house/make the beds/get the washing done/get the fridge stocked etc etc.... Exhausted just thinking about it!

Ah well. We'll muddle through. And hopefully have a bit of fun along the way

must say feel for you about ds1 , I had this terrible guilt thinking I had made them grow up another bit, and it happened again when I had dd2, but on a good note it does go away quickly make sure you get a good cuddle off him and you'll both be fine

• tv & early bed

• sort baby stuff from loft; More Done
• sort baby room; More Done
• maybe book reflexology for next week
• set up full playlist; Listening to & editing as i go; Up to S in song list

Ongoing:

• Find new dentist that is taking on NHS nervous patients for me/investigate private; DH thinks his will take me on too
• Photos: upload select photos of DC to Snapfish & order
• order blind for kitchen side door & curtains for playroom
• pictures to label 'animals' & 'people' & 'cars' boxes
• research motability options; Waiting for news on extension
• see if any toys can go/be put away
• watch Prison Break DVDs & give back to PIL; Started
• party invites; deliver non-sch friends over holidays; 4 yes's
• buy 'hookbacks' for the front door curtain; Have some links to show DH
• clean oven; Bought Oven Pride
• thank-you card & present for pre-sch (tin of biscuits I think)
• BF course file; write Index & label dividers; DONE; Check my 'Record Of Learning' sheets & hand in (have until May)
• test DS2 trousers & sew on labels
• book some online shops with basics for next 3 weeks
