Ali - that is sad. Sorry to hear that.

Parents Evening - went well, clearly both my children are going to be Prime Minister/Genius/Save the world naturally! Wink. Seriously though, they are both happy and both doing well. That's all I can possibly want in YR and Y1! Phew!

Hi Plum Smile

JKS - DC do quite enjoy running around scaring me to death in the upstairs which currently has either no or dodgy floors and no bannisters/rails!!! Confused. All good fun. The place is an utter tip at the moment, rubbish and crap everywhere, so it is very un-health and safety. Needs a damned good tidy up (needs the slatterns treatment!)

Feeling v inspired today!
House is soooo full of clutter that I'm really struggling to keep on top of things and getting stressed about it. But I have resloved that starting today I'm going to get on top of it.

Hi everyone.
Have really got out of the habit of regular listing Blush

Am away for friend's bday this weekend, have already packed and checked train times etc so am fairly organised!

We have sold the double buggy (only for £30 though Sad, wanted twice that really and they got a real bargain)so on Tuesday I took it all apart and washed it all properly. Looks really good now but I stupidly left the chassis in the garden for want of anywhere else to put and it's now been rained on all last night and this morning! At least it didnt have the seats etc on and I can bring it in and just leave it in the kitchen while I'm away.

Ali - i have :( so shocked. we never even thought during all of DS2's stuff that it could all go wrong so suddenly.
What a whirlwind as well, from ear infection to brain tumour to this :( :(

Parents evening was fine, DS1 still adjusting to the discipline/routine of school which is understandable as his pre-sch was pretty wild.
V interesting & cute to read some of his 'stories' about home life!

Bit of a sudden jump forward in DS2 stuff today, had his TAC (team around the child) meeting at the SN sch this morning, he went off to his classroom and was fine (apart from the very end when they tried to take his coat off!). And he starts transition visits with the Nanny on Monday Shock
we may even get his uniform this weekend! He'll do Mon & Wed mornings until the end of term which means he's only at his current pre-sch for 3 more Thursdays!!
Taking some adjusting in my head, but looking forward to him being settled there and moving on.

I know, bloody awful. :(

JKS - that is fab about DS2, you must be just delighted with how well he's progressed :)
Glad DS1 is doing ok too - I am worried about DS going to school, he is very, erm, independent! Blush

I'm slowly plodding my way through jobs today. Mainly washing. It suddenly occurred to me last night that if I do go into labour, Mum will be coming up to look after DS and take over. Can't have her arriving to chaos!
Even with a successful VBAC I will be in hospital for 2-3 nights minimum because of the GD and possible impact on the baby's blood sugar.

Oh Joy!!! Windows are IN! Makes my house look like, well, er... a house?! Rather than a peculiar structure with polythene/wooden boards/whatever we could get our hands on to stop the rain coming in!

And my decorator came today which was great but also weird because it is such a sodding building site that the thought we might actually be able to decorate ANYTHING before next Christmas is hard to muster. Anyway, the builders say 6 weeks, so 6 weeks it most likely will be. They've been bang on so far.
