Hello :)

Wet and horrid here too Anon.

JKS - what a nightmare for you, will you sneak in a nap this afternoon or no chance?

Had growth scan and consultant this morning. Baby's growth has slowed and levelled off, thank goodness, so that is really good news - means I'm not producing so much insulin as I was which is good for me and especially good for the baby. Big relief Grin Consultant is v.pleased with how well I've controlled the GD, and she doesn't even want me to have any more scans :)
Birth plan is agreed! I will attempt VBAC if I go into labour spontaneously, but I'm booked in for an ELCS on the 28th March if nothing has happened before then.

Feeling so much better to have that all sorted.

DONE
All up and dressed
Breakfast and clear up kitchen
Unload dishwasher
Friend here at 9am to look after DS for the morning
Hospital 9.40am
Home and lunch
Ring parents to update them on scan etc
DH working at home for the rest of the day

TO DO
Clear up
Drink Brew
Lazy-ish afternoon I think!
2 loads of washing
Dinner - fajhitas with the leftover chicken
Clear up
DS to bed
Early night for me

ONGOING
Get midwife to sign HIP form for me - argh forgot, will have to ring her

JKS - I'll be 40+2, and desperate to get the baby out by then I am sure!!!

I managed a 20min nap on the sofa while DS played games on the Cbeebies website on my laptop - does that make me an awful mother? Poor child is being horribly neglected atm because I am so knackered.

Anonymousbird · 23/02/2011 18:24

OH GOD!!!

Just spent nearly three hours Confused talking electrics, lights and power with our electrician. My head is going to burst, I swear!!! AAAGGGHHH.

It wouldn't be so bad, but I need to go over the whole lot again with DH tonight to try and finalise our plans...

Urgh Anon - that doesn't sound like fun at all!

Ali - yes you be will be desperate by then!! I know i would be, as DS1 came 2 weeks early, i found the last 2 weeks with DS2 a real trial, had assumed i would go early again.
And no, you are not a bad mother, he loved it didn't he? Ds1 had lots of similar afternoons when i was pg with ds2, and he has more than his fair share of tv/iphone games/laptop games at the moment too, even with school & Nanny to occupy him.

DH is on a mission, has defrosted the freezer and cleaned it today, we've been on strict freezer-food-use-up the last week or so, lol. Tomorrow he's going to start cooking up tonnes of stuff to freeze for me/boys to eat post-baby :)

Ali - hope you're ok?

Ds2 not himself but not been sick again, boys out in the garden for some sun-time and he's happy enough out there. (easier to clean up if he's sick too...)

Very chuffed with my Michael Recycle 'costume' for DS1 for Book Day next week, got a green round tablecloth and folded it & stapled a bit of material on so it's a cape & he can hang it round his neck, then a paper plate covered in tinfoil with MR in paper letters on it, and a colander for his hat :) Well that won't stay on longer than 2 secs but it's the idea...

I'm ok thanks JKS - have eaten a huge amount of lunch, was just starving. It does feel like morning sickness again, hunger related and I'm exhausted. Very much hoping that I'm not going to be like this for the next month!!
Hope DS2 is alright?

Costume sounds v.impressive, I'm not looking forward to needing to start doing things like that for DS! My Mum was fab at stuff like that with us, perhaps she would like to be costume-maker for her grandchildren aswell? Grin

DH is on his way home, yay, and then I'm going to bed for a snooze. Handyman is coming later to fix a bit of wall and I was thinking of cancelling, but DH will be here now so he can deal with it. :)

Anonymousbird · 24/02/2011 16:32

YEY! for door curtain.

Well, as anticipated, DH went "out for lunch"... yesterday to mark the end of an era. Didn't actually return from lunch so to speak, so is now nursing a stonking headache. Hmm He even has resorted to the ice pack reserved for his numerous bloody rugby injuries to try and numb the pain!

Oops!

List is by the wayside today!

Morning everyone :) No puking here today, although I did feel really queasy before breakfast. I am torn between being desperate not to be pregnant anymore, and panicking that we aren't ready yet and also about the prospect of giving birth. Argh.

Anon - this is why I am so grateful that DH (and all his colleagues as well) drives to work. There is no possibility of him rolling in pissed Grin
Hope the new job goes well on Monday :)

Ha ha Wasting, he certainly did roll in, but it wasn't even late - but he started at Noon, so I suppose it was kind of late in "drinking time"!

Anyway, the list?? oh where for art thou list? No eye deer.

I am sitting here, watching DS and DD play footie with DH in the garden and DS who has been at rugby camp for two days is actually covered, literally every part of him, in mud!! My poor washing machine! My poor bath!

But the great news is that DDog has gone on holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MIL has taken her off our hands for a week, maybe longer. Alleluyah. I love our dog, but finding the time to walk her can be hard and she is moulting so badly right now, that I am just glad she will be moulting somewhere else.

Have a great weekend one and all
