Please can I join? I have a list as long as my arm, really must get moving!

Please can you let me know what I need to do? Do I write what I've done or what I need to do?

Thanks
Grin

FreakoidOrganisoid · 24/01/2011 17:13

Well done anon Smile

FreakoidOrganisoid · 24/01/2011 17:15

Stary you can do either. Most of us find listing what we need to do and then ticking it off once we've done it works, but we also include stuff we've already done to add motivation Grin

starrystarrynights · 24/01/2011 17:18

Thanks freakoid - I should have joined this ages ago!

off to make DD's tea and then I'll be back with a list Grin

Anonymousbird · 24/01/2011 17:19

Oh starry, come on in, do whatever - as Freaki says, doesn't matter, you don't even need to list, although most do (and adding stuff already done with a big tick is all part of the fun! tee hee).

Starry - have you built/renovated a house????

I'm 2 months into a 6-7 month complete overhaul/extension of my cottage. Have had to move out...

OP posts:
starrystarrynights · 24/01/2011 20:05

Anonymousbird I was reading you opening post and smiling - it reads like my to do list! I actually types 'Feed the dog' cos I saw it on your list and then remembered that I don't have a dog Grin.

Our renovation sounds so much simpler that yours - we've bought a new place a few streets away that is being renovated and we move in a couple of weeks, still lots to do and supervising the builders is a job in itself! Luckily we are in our current place just now as the new place is just rubble :)

minimammoth · 24/01/2011 21:47

Found you! back with list tomorrow, too tired now.

JustKeepSwimming · 25/01/2011 07:58

Starry - sounds like you & Anon have lots in common.

I'm so frustrated with myself, woke at 4 for a wee and couldn't get back to sleep, lay there until 5.55 when DS2 woke up. Not good.

Oh and the tumble dryer freaked me out big time last night making a dreadful noise, it's still making it if i try and turn it on, think it might be dead....

  • all dressed
  • strip beds & find clean bedding
  • swap bathmats & towels

I am tired just reading your lists!

Well done - I am in awe and will remain a slattern!

minimammoth · 25/01/2011 08:52

Ben10. Remeber these lists are just the rabid imaginings of slatterns with guilt. They never actually do anything.Grin
its time I did a fantasy list:

book month in the Bahamas
walk around the garden without making a list
have coffee and cake several times a day without putting on a pound
eat choc with the above condition
swan around
gaze into the distance
have a personal shopper who knows just whats right for me and pays for it all.
wake up and find I am 20years younger

Ah well

JustKeepSwimming · 25/01/2011 09:23
