Come hither from thither but do not dither!!

Just had an Asda delivery, my first with them. I usually do a Tesco shop but on Mysupermarket.com Asda were cheaper and their delivery charges are cheaper. They were late, rang to let me know but.....and there were 5 items missing from themorder. All items that they don't carry in my small Tesco (gluten and dairy free items) so it is important to get them with my food delivery.

So I am going to have to do another small Tesco order and pay for another delivery charge

Still what arrived is away and sorted.

Slatterns are motoring today. I think I'm the one with the smallest list ( and least done).

• upload & order online prints (DH getting rid of that PC so i need to a) research 'time machines', b) get one, c) move all photos from his PC onto it, d) link up my laptop with it so all photos from here go on it
• order door curtain (& rail) for front door; need to email seller about sizes (got measurements)
• clean kitchen cupboard doors
• empty all cupboards out, check contents & restock
• research backing up hardware for computers Done More
• make up basket of toys & pictures for DS2; need basket Got Basket

Plant bulbs - hmm this is not going to happen today. I need to review what needs to be planted this early and leave the rest.
put canes for horticultural fleece around brassica/onion bed - might do this in the dark when slug hunting.
Make up new kitchen base cabinet for builders to install sink in on Wed - might be able to do this with 14month DS's "help" otherwise if DH makes dinner.

Try to work out how to get money out of the cash machine (it refused me the other day and then reverted to Arabic) done

Words - sorry to hear about that. I know someone who did that at our office, they had just installed the glass screens, and in the few hours between installing, removing the large bits of tape to warn people they were there and putting up the "logos" etc that would make it clear they were there, a poor lady walked full pelt into it. She actually knocked herself out and was off work for a couple of days with suspected concussion

Hello Slatterns.
I'm back with a list. Hope all the new slatterns are doing well. I am a lapsed slattern. This thread helped me through my maternity leave. I am back at work now Wed/T/F (DD is nearly One) and every second counts to get everything done.

Apols in advance for typo's. Getting used to small netbook keyboard.

I have been bad with my lists recently, must be better!

Hello new people

On the wine front, I have been bad! I totally forgot I was pregnant the other day (surely the emerging bump should be enough to remind me???) and had two largeish glasses before DH was like 'er Alibaba..' It was yummy though, but I do feel guilty.

Today I have DC3 at home till dinner time and then he goes into nursery and I then have DC2 home, as he is still on half dayss. So I will have to work round them. Then we have Dr.'s appt.'s so I don't think I will get as much done today.

Teeth whitening is working, thank you Mini. MIL had it done last year and not very effective, so I approached with caution, but I can definitely see a difference. Doing it til Saturday, then see Dentist for a comparison next week

Oh bloody hell I really need a proper list, house is getting worse by the day.

Yesterday I did a bit of doom stuff such as tidying all our underwear drawers and tidying the stuff in the bottom of my wardrobe but there is currently a lot of doom.

I need to store some clothes and bedding for medium to long term - anyone got any ideas? Is my best bet some of those underbed storage bag type things, the ones you zip up?? I think I can pick some up quite cheap, but haven't used them before...

If I do those, for clothes and a couple with bedding and spare pillows and cushions in, I can clear some serious "doom" areas quite quickly and shove in the loft....

Your tips on this are appreciated.
