PlumBumMum · 23/09/2010 16:59

Just seen it, funny anon we have same problem with dd2 she has to inform everyone, although BIL didn't realise she was behind him and he let off a silent but deadly and she exclaimed I can smell a poo smell, his face was never redder!!Grin

anonymousbird · 23/09/2010 17:09

JKS a great list. Go girl.

Farting will always be amusing, there is no getting away from it.

We finally decided that enough was enough though, on the farting in public thing when DS let a really bad one go at a presentation, and the poor 1 year old behind us (who we know very well Blush) got the blame from his mother who then huffed and puffed and was muttering "oh for god's sake and I have JUST changed you". I didn't realise until after she had set off for the ladies to change him!!! DS got a big talking to after that.

DS also farted the whole way back from Portugal. 2.5 hours, v. embarrassing. Ryanair is bad, I'll grant you, but this took the experience to a whole other level for anyone within 3 rows of us.

They are canny though, often they blame the dog... Hmm

Hiya Folks. Nowt done today. Can't compete with the magnificent listmaking skills exhibited here, but will plod on with my own odest but meaningful attempts.
Freaki will definately be on the lookout for killer samosas, how dare they undermine the very structure of our society.

London all day yesterday, at least I managed to stay conscious and get off at my station on the way back(unlike last time when i was so absent minded that I travelled to the end of the line and had to come back on shuttle thingy)Blush.

Hello ladies.

JKS finding a dentist is hard! I found one that would take the DC as NHS, but I am currently private. If they up their NHS funding, then I may have the option to go NHS, but she says it is harder than ever. To date, my teeth haven't cost me more than check up/hygenist... fingers crossed.

Getting 3 carseats in your car is no mean feat. I carry 4 kids 3 or 4 times a week and I have Mothercare boosters (DD is 4 who goes in big seat, the other three go on the boosters) which are the narrowest I could find. It's fine for the short run to and from school, but if I had to get 3 in for a proper journey, I'd struggle. And I have what one might call a large estate car too!

As for today:
DC to school DONE
Me to hairdressers DONE
Ocado to stock my fridge DONE
General tidy up for the PIL's coming DONE
PIL's collecting DC from school
Me getting dressed for my BIG NIGHT OUT.
MIL taking DD swimming, dropping me at station.
Meet DH in Park Lane

After that, God knows!

Suspect it is a case of see you next week, have great weekends all, Freaki where you off to? Did I miss the post but your list says PASSPORT.... oooooooooo.
Have fun xx

JKS I am the same about the dentist and think all of our reg's have run out at our dentist so either need to decide to go back to him or find a new one[eek]

see you all tomorrow

minimammoth · 24/09/2010 16:41

Dental phobics. My dentist is wonderful v. gentle and mindful of the scaryness. One that I went to when I hadn't been for ages was great when I explained how nervous I was. the nurse held my hand the whole way through, gave me a ball thingy to squeeze, encouraged me to breath etc. I never looked back. just have em checked, then think about any treatment. Little steps. Hypnotherapy also works.

JustKeepSwimming · 25/09/2010 09:47

Morning all :)

Mini - i need your dentist! I had a fab one way back at uni and every other one since has been nowhere near as kind/gentle/understanding.
