JKS, I hadn't even realised we were approaching the clock change Confused

Excellent gardening mummywah.
I'm going to see What I Heard About The World at The Studio (The Crucible) in Sheffield, and a young lit production of Caucasian Chalk Circle in Donny.
I really need to see more theatre, so it's a treat but important for the old noggin too, it's getting rusty.

Morning girls,

mini liking your name change, you'll have to think of your christmas one too.

Vasting I love going to the theatre, dh has never been to see a play, I don't even think he has seen a panto so I keep meaning to get him tickets, must look and see whats coming up, although have got him a ticket to see.... eek forgot the commedians name, your man from league of their own, from Liverpool.... with his brothers, although would have loved to have went too..

JustKeepSparkling · 24/10/2010 10:52

Hey Plum - like it though it calls for rhyming the way it's written, which makes me think of 'polishing our ... rear' Grin

Have sorted tomorrow, DH off work, will drop me & DS1 off at hospital here, then drive to GOSH with DS2 & do his day there (v glad about this as i normally find it exhausting so would really struggle with current energy levels), then drive home at whatever time.
Means me & DS1 get a fun day together :)
Think we will get a bus (double decker requests DS1!) from the hosp into town and go to the cinema, some kiddie films on for halfterm. Maybe even have lunch out too if he wants - spoiling him alert as i never get a day with just him!

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 24/10/2010 11:21

Morning everyone :)

We were supposed to be going to see ILs today, but I have ducked out and DH has gone with DS. I am going to go back to bed for an hour with my book and then have a bath. Grin

anonymousbrainsnatcher · 24/10/2010 17:57

Hello Peeps.

No list as it is the weekend, and other than treading water (just!) with folks here and DH in between jet lag and another trip (he has gone again today) haven't achieved much.

Didn't manage the Slow Roast Lamb. DH's flight today meant I would have had to have it in the oven before 8am.. which wasn't happening! So, it will have to wait until another day. Still had "regular" roast and was veh veh nice.

Can highly recommend Jamie's smashed celeriac though Mmmm.

JKS only until Wednesday... like the name change by the way!!

And hope tomorrow goes well on all fronts and absolutely SPOIL that boy!!!!!! An opportunity to go and do stuff like that must not be missed... Good for DS AND Mummy.

Good work on the next thread title ladies, like it a lot.

mummywahhahamammoth · 25/10/2010 08:57

Rant alert. Can't even face going in the kitchen just yet. Not even had breakfast. It looks like ground zero, more cement dust in sink. How? Why? stuff everywhere. This is just one adult man, can't even blame DCs. LARGE SIGH. with hands on hips. Am off to find a grenade, it would be an improvement. Humph

mummywahhahamammoth · 25/10/2010 09:53

Kitchen now clear. I have people coming round at 10. thus the nee to shift my arse get on.
Its echoie in here this morning! Off to remove grit/cement dust, grenade debris, from dining table and floor now.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 25/10/2010 11:02

JKS I hope you're having a lovely day with DS! :)

mini - aarggh, what on earth is he doing?

We probably need one more thread title before the Christmas one? How about 'Spooky Slatterns Ghosting through their Lists'?

I need to do some serious housework today. I haven't done an 'in the corners' clean in the living room or dining room for months and it is really starting to show.

DONE
All up and breakfasted
Bins out for binmen
Fold some washing
Play trucks with DS

TO DO
Quick tidy and bed making
Clear dining table
Get DS set up with some playdough
Take all clean and folded washing upstairs
Tidy living room bookcases (big task)
Dust living room blinds
Clean window insides

vastingavay · 25/10/2010 12:12

Yoohoo!

Mini, how annoying!

JKS, hope you're all having a good day.

Is it my bil that's getting married btw?

Wasting my windows were very condensationney this morning and it did make me think of you so I'm glad (in a wierd way) to see it back on your list Grin
