JKS - which trashy disaster movie?! We are on scooby doo (deep joy) but it's keeping the kids quiet whilst I get on with clearing the spare room.....

Good going on ebay... I must get some more listed. Just found during my clear up some excellent baby stuff I forgot I had - bed guard, travel cot, travel highchair thing... $$$£££$$$ before my eyes! Well, can't get too excited, but it all builds up the me/kids/present fund.

Rugrats we had a running tally last week of all our DC/DGC.. do you want to add yours?

AnonBird - DS 6.1 and DD 5 minus 2 weeks..
Alice - DD 2.11yrs and DS nearly 8wks
Ali - DS is 2.3, DC2 still gestating
Plum - dd1 (9.5), ds(7) & dd2 (4 in a couple of weeks)
Mini - DD1,37, DD2,34 and DS1 34 and DGS1 is4 and DGD is 1

Well DH has taken the kids off for an hour or so to the allotment so I can get some things done. whoopie! she says ryely.

Mini I use Doves Farm bread flour which I have found is better. This is the page from the Panasonic site

GF Bread Maker Recipes

I also add cinnemon and sultana's to give it a bit of zing. The boys love it warm with just butter. I don't use as much suger as it suggests and you most likely can get away with not using any.

You can also get Genius Brown and White bread on prescription from the Dr. now, which is fab. It uses suger beet flakes, don't know how they affect a diabetic.

We use the Lactofree milk which is yummy.

As for all this pillow talk well.........lol!

I wash mine on a rolling system. I try and wash one a month, so that they are all washed at least once a year and I buy new ones when they start looking ratty.

FreakoidOrgansandBloodoid · 17/10/2010 19:24

Evening all
Have had a nice weekend. friend arrived from her conderence v v hungover and spent friday eve vomiting in my toilet Grin but was fully recovered by yesterday to be able to go to the school fayre and then for a couple of drinks last night. Then this morning we had pain au chocolat and caught up on x factor before the dc came back.

This afternoon I attempted to seal my bath, better attempt than last time but still not great Blush

Then H phoned complaining that I hadn't told him about the school fayre which led to us having a big fight and me making him cry Blush All I said was that it was quite upsetting to me that he would suddenly be interested in the school fayre when in the past whenever I'd tried to get him to go to anything with me and the dc he had always refused and been an arse about it and that it was a shame he hadn't wanted to spend time with us when we were together because it was one of the few things I had wanted from him.

Need to do a lot tomorrow, house quite dirty and have lots of washing to do.

JustKeepSwimming · 17/10/2010 19:28

anonymousbrainsnatcher · 17/10/2010 20:03

Hello!!! Look at all you super lot and your splendid weekend lists. I started off with best intentions yesterday, but it went down hill. Fast.

Today we were out the door at 7.45am - had to drop DD at Granny's and then get a lift with DS to a rugby tournament miles away. Was worth it though, they were brilliant. Didn't win, but won some games and their fighting spirit and energy was fantastic. And they are only 6!!

Then it was back and straight round to see how DD was getting on and ended up there for the rest of the day. Well, if someone offers to cook you all a big slap up roast dinner, you ain't going to complain hey?! Only got home just before 7, bundled DC straight to bed.

The house is a bombsite, frankly, it's embarrassing. Am going to do a 20 minute tidy up now, break the back of the key problem areas (FFS, where to start?!):

  • empty DW
  • iron uniform
  • ignore playroom
  • fold dry laundry
  • get school bags etc ready
  • 8.30 - pour glass of wine, sit down, catch up on Strictly, then off to bed for a very very early night.

Smile Confused and all at once.

Was supposed to go out in the morning, nothing important, so think I must cancel and get our lives in order. Just too much to do to go and do fun stuff Sad. Kids are staying late at school tomorrow, so I could get absolutely heaps done.

It will have to be the list to end all lists.

Anyway, the clock is ticking, 20 minutes... and we're off!

FreakoidOrgansandBloodoid · 17/10/2010 21:20

JKS maybe...he had plenty of chances over the years though. Also I am a bit Hmm because he is very good at turning things around for his benefit and for making you feel like you were the one in the wrong when actually he was iyswim. So I do wonder a little how genuine the crying was [bitch]

Anon sounds hectic. Hope you are tucked up in bed now.

Just had a baileys hot choc, I was freezing and now feel all warm Grin
