How do they even enter (or leave) the house?

or maybe they simply staged it in this manner.

Not my cup of tea. But it’s so unashamedly loud and kitchy… that it somehow ends up being somewhat charming??🤔

Aposterhasnoname · 28/10/2025 15:11

Wow, thats really something. Do they have to move the bowls of flowers out of the way everytime they want a shower

Greenflowering · 28/10/2025 15:12

It is pristine though. All credit to them, while not to my taste I think it looks immaculate and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it because it’s obviously been so well maintained and looked after.

PrizedPickledPopcorn · 28/10/2025 15:17

That’s a more is more kind of a house. And definitely shows off a dedication to housework! I could not be trusted with such a home.

The wet room is a bit impractical though. Not sure how that works.

thenightsky · 28/10/2025 15:17

I wish there was a floor plan so we could figure out how it all flows.

Missed the tiger on the first look. Had to go back for a second look.

I can't imagine they do much cooking in that kitchen. I'd keep tripping over the bloody thing.

My immediate thought was: where the hell did they find all that stuff? Is there a shop somewhere dedicated to people with a particular sort of 'taste' in furniture?

lifeonmars100 · 28/10/2025 15:18

makes the current decor in the Oval Office look minimalistic

Mariets · 28/10/2025 15:20

My neighbours are travellers and their house is similar in style. Immaculately clean and tidy, very expensive mugs and crockery etc. It's not to my taste, but when they leave it will be spotless.

ICouldHaveCheckedFirst · 28/10/2025 15:21

I'm seriously impressed with their ability to see their detailed concept through, even though it's not my taste. A house that truly reflects their owner's personality. Good on 'em, I say.

I can’t imagine the amount of time it must take to dust! And my balance would feel off with the diagonal letters on the wall, cushions on the sofa and tiles in the bathrooms. Very hard to imagine the “bones” of the house with so much stuff. Agree that the bar by the front door is really bizarre!
But I do like the front gates and the attic room - clearly someone has put their foot down about clutter in there

Also, curtains in the bathroom!! And a giant TV in the kitchen. I am very impressed by the cleanliness

CharlieKirkRIP · 28/10/2025 15:36

How can you relax with all that clutter? I have a headache just looking at the photos!

Yes, this! Looks - um - awful, and not to my taste at all. But I like it when people have their own personality/taste/ideas and really go for it. They obviously like and enjoy their decor, and it's more admirable than going for 'tasteful' bland (when you don't really like it) or whatever is the current trend just because it's the current trend, whether you like it, or not.

KitchenSinkLlama · 28/10/2025 15:43

Whilst I can’t begin to describe the house (each to their own etc etc) why don’t the agents/photographers put the bloody loo seat down before taking a photo? It looks grim left up.

Catpiece · 28/10/2025 15:43

It’s a bling palace

MsWilmottsGhost · 28/10/2025 15:44

Decor is not my taste, but that wouldn't put me off as most of it would move out with the seller. It looks clean and well maintained.

I'm a bit confused by the layout, is that the entrance hall with the barstools? And there appears to be 3 bathrooms in the pictures but not in the description.

I'm more put off by the lack of floorplan tbh. It always makes me suspicious they are hiding something weird like a room through a room. It pisses me off to go to a viewing and then find something that would have been a no go from the start.

Lakeyloo · 28/10/2025 15:45

That has actually made me smile for some reason... fair play if they love it but I'd be living/sleeping/eating in the loft. Imagine packing that lot up to move 😫
Made me feel better about the 1 cow print cushion I bought at the weekend which doesn't go with anything else in my house but I love it so I'm not taking it back.

HeadDeskHeadDesk · 28/10/2025 15:49

bert3400 · 28/10/2025 14:52

Yep I thought that too, the loft space is relatively normal 😂

That's where the poor husband hides, obviously. It's the only place there's any space for him to sit without being assaulted by an adjacent diamante encrusted objet d'art of some sort.

opencecilgee · 28/10/2025 15:50

Love it! And Balmoral Drive too 🤣

Bonjamin · 28/10/2025 15:50

i'm normally very, very po-faced about critiquing individuals' decor styles on Rightmove but this is worth it just for the punch line of the photo of the attic room.

Where someone presumably goes to hide from the disco balls and Versace duvet covers.

CaptainMyCaptain · 28/10/2025 15:53

StMichaelPenkevil · 28/10/2025 15:00

Why is there a loo seat in the bathroom window? 😂😂

Why is there a clear glass bay window in the bathroom?

TreeDudette · 28/10/2025 16:15

We know where he sits... up in the loft, away from all THAT!

Tabitha005 · 28/10/2025 16:17

Crikey.
