Colour advice lounge

I have just changed my lounge grey carpet for a lovely oak floor but something just doesn’t look right . My sofas are mid charcoal leather and silver grey chenille curtains. Any suggestions/ help needed.

Thanks for that my curtain poles are raised as high as they will go so keep the short for now thx until I can stretch to made to measure x

On your photos they look like they can go up a few inches

We could try and see if they would look better but would go over the coving . Thx
