Have you been growing a whopper of a pumpkin for Halloween? Or shop bought is fine

Do you and your DC carve a Jack O' Lantern every year? Or do you just want to show off your artistic brilliance?

Upload a picture of your pumpkin here for us all to howl ogle over and any top carving tips/pumpkin recipes you have, do share.

Ok experts let me in on the secret. How do you get the orange skin off while leaving bits of the flesh in tact. If you can't tell me I'll sulk!

AWimbaWay try adding some thai red curry paste if you have any. I often make a soup with butternut squash, coconut milk, stock and thai red curry paste that is yummy. Am planning to try it with pumpkin later.

Anything like squash/pumpkin soup I make with paprika, I suppose a similar idea to the thai curry. If you do the curry option, you can use it as the sauce for a fish curry - just poach some fish/prawns in it for the last 20 mins or so. I think it's Nigella I got that from.

I can see the first 2 of your pictures singaporefling - they take a while to come up on screen when you first post them

I can see the last one you posted too. She must have decent tools for the removal of the skin - I had to make do with a wee plastic pumpkin poker and a sharp kitchen knife
