Too early for this year (and I suspect I won't do one this year due to imminent arrival of DC1!) So this is last year's effort..

This is my first ever attempt at carving something other than a scary face. It was from last year and friends/family/trick or treaters were very impressed.

Liking all the other ideas on here, I will have to get my ideas planned - I want to do 2 this year for on top of the porch.
