Oxford offer here! Surprised, and delighted. DD normally cool as a cucumber, but she actually burst into tears in the car when it came through. (Genuinely don't know which is worse - a known decision day like this, or the endless waiting for other medical schools.) Still, it's a happy day here 😃

Offer is 39 points, with 7,6,6 in highers (she does the IB). I think the A Level offer is Astar, A, A.

My DS had his Sheffield interview on Monday and then has Birmingham and Belfast next week. School have generously said he can sit all his mock exams (for 4 subjects) the following week to allow him to travel for interviews. 🙄

Been watching the threads. We did four interviews before Christmas and have one offer. Waiting on others. He would be happy with any but waiting on an offer from preferred choice (current offer is excellent though). One interview online, rest face to face. Not heard much about the interviews themselves (they are not meant to tell) but quite surprised by how political a topic was in one. Did have a few disagreements over exactly how much time he should allow to get to cities though. Let’s just say I err on the cautious side when it comes to making allowance for public transport!

Still not heard from fifth option so so much for the theory of getting a quick offer from that to boost confidence!

Rejection here (pre-interview) for Birmingham. As if it wasn't a depressing enough day.

Really sorry to hear that @Optimum19. Hope she's not too downcast about it. I think I remember she has/had three other interviews though, so still very much in the game. But rejection is horrible - sending you both solidarity.
