DD has been fortunate to have been called for three interviews so far which she is excited and terrified about in equal measure! Newcastle and Sheffield next month and Exeter in January . She’s waiting on Leeds, which is a bit of an unknown

Agree about BMAT. DD said it was much harder than any practice papers!

Rejection from Queen's Univ Belfast due to not great marks in UCAT (it was silly to even apply really). All other applications are to BMAT MedSchools so everything is resting on Friday's results!

Same here for BMAT - hardest exam ever done apparently!

My DD has been really lucky and has interviews at all 3 of her UCAT unis confirmed now, which is much better (and earlier) than she thought. One in Dec, then other 2 in Jan. And then waiting on BMAT <not hopeful>

Sympathies to those still waiting - it’s tough when the invites come out in batches and you’ve still not heard. Fingers crossed for good news soon.

And really sorry for those DC with rejections, hopefully their other choices come good - I believe the saying is “you only need one” so here’s hoping for at least one for everyone

DS2 has been called for interview at University of Leicester in mid December. Has online interview at KCL end of November. The other two he is waiting for are BMAT Cambridge and UCL. Fingers crossed for everyone waiting on interviews.

Are any Nottingham interviews out yet?

We are waiting for Barts and Birmingham out of the UCAT unis. Has anyone heard from them yet?

Best of luck to all for BMAT results tomorrow- DD is not hopeful but has had a month to come to terms with it, so is pretty sanguine about the whole thing now. She is debating whether to check the results at all (which I’m trying to pretend is completely cool by me, her choice etc. whilst internally screaming nooooo!!!)

Me neither @rosesinmygarden !!! I would threaten her with hacking into it but she knows I wouldn’t have a clue where to start 😂I don’t know if she’s trying to wind me up or not actually. But I am pleased that she’s chilled about it

She is refusing to look at her results as feels it will spoil finding out about interviews. She is crazy! But I guess she feels it could be 'all over' if she's done poorly and therefore nothing to look forward to. I am trying not to nag!!

So despite all the chat, DD did check her BMAT results in the end! She did really well (waaay better than she thought) but not sure it’ll be enough for an interview at Oxford - her weighted score is 63% and although she has all 9s at GCSE, I’m not sure if it’s enough tbh. Depends on who else applies I suppose! Any idea on when Oxford send interview decisions out?

Hello can anyone tell me what time BMATs came out?
Forgot to ask DS and he’s at school now 😬

They were coming out at 0900 this morning.

@Mumofboys2006 my DD was able to get hers at 8.30am this morning so they came out a bit earlier than published

Dd is still refusing to check. So it's wait and see here. We only have one uni on her ucas form that's bmat.
